insurance wont work. if they dont care about it then they wont even bother getting reg or wofs. it also means the rest of us the insurance will go sky high. with some they dont care if car gets crushed they will just go out by another cheapy and use that till they get caught again. and will more so do runners from the cops. The laws are there just the jugdes / courts do not inforce them. most of us care bout our cars but others dont give a stuff and will keep doin it. inforce the laws and scare the hell out of them so they wont do it again.

In that different colour i know i dont like the head lights just plain yuck. in the silver its not so noticeble but red it sticks out like a saw toe

Yeas thats a 1400 dash. thinking it would be abit of an up grade on the DL. Cant tell what Revs im doing

My XT6 has a cybrid power steering unit. has electric motor running the PS pump. The CPU actually runs it. so i guess its sorta of a ECU controlled power steering. if you dnt knock the wheel the pump will slow right down. when you start to move it the motor goes to full power. then if you driving at hi speed then the PS tightens up.

Just imagin if you didnt wash off all the fuel then took it for a drive soon afterwards lol :

I knew a guy that was fitting a legacy 2.2 fitted with a Merc charger to his off roader. I dont know if he finished it or not.

I use CRC silicon spray on the clutch pedal plasic bush and accelrator one. I Dont use normal CRC incase it mite react with the bush?

I think i read the 3.6 Tribecas here run on 91. wheres pic of the inside? i think i must had missed that?

I believe it was done so you could run on lower octain gas. It does have a bit more power tho. 3.0L was underpowered in the tribeca and the 3.6 helps a bit better from what ive heard. It has abit more tourque too.

Intresting read. doubt they would do it tho. I know some guys picked up some 3.6 litter parts to see about turbo alications and to see if the parts fitted to the EZ30. I think the conrod is bit smaller or thinner than the ez30 ones too. I Dont know where the thread was that they talked about it ???

I dont think it be a good model to turbo with those tiny pre bent con rods so they can get the longer stroke. also sucks becoz pretty much nothing will fit from the EZ30s to the EZ36

I always get crap from people about subarus. Ive heard we are almost as hated as honda owners : we are the new honda : I must amit every car i know of weather its BMW ford mitis subaru etc they all can have there probs. The newer the equipment gets the more complecated it gets which then means more can go wrong. Of all the people i know of that have owned cars the subaru is the most relible of all. mind you they arnt being driven hard but used as normal every day transport that never gives trouble.

Yes very true. in the cold the fuel isnt expanded so is more dense

They just want to get rid of the smaller servos normally owned by owner oprater. means less stations to gas, they own it so get more profits etc. Funny thing is we used to have 2 bps in distance of about a km or less of each other. both were on hoonhay road. its been gone for atleast the last 15+ years. its now parmside automotive or etc

Remember possum bornes 1st subaru was A RX twin carb coupe He went very well. was lower in power but gripped better than every thing else. Leone/brumby is real 4wd. 50/50 split real 4wd. No center diff so No diff lock needed lol . cant use it on tarmack unless driving straight. Front wheel drive, 4wd hi/low comes in very handy. Never got it stuck so far ;D

alot of different servos have shut down here in chch over the years. all different brands. there isnt one in Lyttleton any more. not 1 in summer. closest is in Red cliffs. I think the only servos that are left on banks penincher is Akaroa and little river? Ive noticed alot of the small owner opprater fuel stations are getting shut down. Even chatted to some of the small servo guys. they get told that they no longer going to supply fuel and they only will if they fork out for brand new tanks in the ground. which of course cost too nmuch and the owners cant afford it. I Know off another servo that mite be in doubt. maybe gone next year or year after

That was the later shape RX only came in turbo here in the newer shape aka omega aka gen 2 etc older shape RX was only twin carb and only 2 door coupe... States got a turbo ea81 with auto... but dnt think it was called a RX? Very Rare tho heard the turbo ea81 is only 109 to 120 bhp at flywheel?

now a Question... What shape leone are you meaning? The one that is same shape as brumby? or the one known as omega like RXII Coupe shape? Or What about a Vortex? If you use the latter shape omega you have more room under the bonnet as well as tranny tunnel. Not sure but you may not have to cut the rasils on 1? If You fit Quad cam engine in brumby and same leone shape you have to cut alot of the inner frame out. Also on the brumby there can be a very tight fit for legacy box in there unless you fit a lift kit... Or if the car was original auto because they have a bigger Tranny tunnel. But of the brumbys we got here there was No auto 1s available. The USA got Auto Brats. The earler leone did come with some autos but not all that many of them around. Died because of rust
