All clear unless I find I'm losing coolant again

Car came back from Mechanic. -General look over - Tyres Rotated. - New Radiator - New Thermostat - Anti-frieze - Replaced right front cv boot. And also met 96WRX, top guy! And has the begins of a real quick car.

I'm going to go with, radiator came with car, radiator was old and then pooed it's pants. Radiator gets replaced. Happy ending But I'll talk to the mechanic about it and see what he thinks. But definitely keeping an eye out now for some of the signs.

Dropped my car off at mechanic to find why the engine was chugging through water, was a split on the radiator. So new one tomorrow, car is also getting a service done Have an auto Leggy Wagon to run around in now too. Fun times.

Back from the mechanic, he did a pressure test and then saw a crack in the radiator. Hopefully that's the cause of it now I get a NA Legacy to run around in.

I'll talk to the mechanic about it tomorrow, and bring up the points you guys have made here. Many thanks for all the suggestions and help guys! Really appreciated.

Well I certainly have my fingers and toes crossed it's something very very simple or solvable without drastic measures. A stronger engine would be nice though..

First left on Lower Styx Road when you go to Spencer Park.

I've noticed that the top tank has been slowly becoming empty, in which I just top up (Hope that's a good thing to do) However after a quick check today it was practically empty. Would I have a coolant/water leak somewhere?? Never notice any puddles of water under the car though ???

Today.. Checked Oil levels, all good! Checked Top Rad for water.. Empty.. Filled it up. <<< So I be concerned about this?? Checked to see if the BoV was leaking at idle or on moderate throttle, nope. Sweet Took a photo of it, realized how much it needs some paint work done. Kinda fun day with my car.

100% sure 4-pots won't fit? Can stick your wheels on mine if you want to see. But as everyone else said, go 4 pots, then you can buy better fluid, pads to compliment them
