If the car has airbags then ONLY an airbag steering wheel can be fitted, unless it is for track use, i am not sure if it can be certed to get rid of one

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't that come into affect after 97?? So if he wants to change it, I think he will be okay? My v3 has the Nardi steering wheel with no Air bag.

  3. Just wondering if there's anyone here or a place that have some more special tools than cutters to cut a certain shape out of some tough plastic? The plastic being the covers that hide the rear strut brace mounts in the back of a WRX wagon?

Would like mine cut out so they will fit with my rear strut brace.

PM me if you can lend a hand and I'm happy to give you something in return ;D

installed alloy radiator. developed a FAST leak in the hose UNDER THE BLOODY CAR while i was out. What a nightmare. few bottles of Pump water purchased and a few gas station visits and i get home and fix the bloody thing. GAHH

cleaned up last of mecca rusty water stains off driveway and road. i bet no one has EVER seen a radiator as bad my old one. the water was not only dark orange, it was lumpy as all hell. internal clogs galore. took 5 flushes with the new radiator installed to get all the s*** out of the water system.

pulled infinity sub out of my other car and installed into the rex. changed headunit to my favourite head unit. BOOM BOOM

modified switch system in the dash removed the last of my gauges!!! YES. wired up the electric seat.

Had your anti-frieze been the stuff from Subaru??

A good job to have at the moment is to be a glasser.

I drove past the old Munmissple Electricity Dept building ( Now Bob Browns Hi Fi ) today.

Alot of the windows were blown out. The whole street was covered in broken glass.

Calendar girls was exactly like that.

That last one just after midnight was a 4.4, 3km deep, 5km within ChCh. Google Maps says, 8 Riccarton road, which is in the Gardens. The Gardens Cafe to be exact.

I'm worried now of the state my work might be in tomorrow. Hope it's all good.

  8. I think the moral here is:

    1. Noone here has a photo of a BC5 with just low springs.

    2. If you're going to lower your ride, it's safest to get professional lowering springs, however, you can cut your springs, but that's something most people hear wouldn't recommend as the cons outweigh the benefits. But it's their decision what they want to do.

    /Thread :)

  9. I think you'll find a few of us here have aftermarket BOV's on our cars. It's not bad for them the only problem with having one the vents out (making that noise) is that it can sometimes make the car run a bit rich when changing gears.

I'll let someone else answer you exhaust question, but on my car, I still have the stock system with cat converters, just a STI model muffler which gives it a nice rumble :)
