U have answered your own question really..when it got to a certain speed (revs) it changed up..u should have stamped down hard again to drop it down again a gear IMHO..and kept your foot hard down in the first place. Ohhh..and 300m in a 1500cc auto aint enough. Next time bail sooner....

Not yet..it goes okay enough apart from sounding like an Old Man who has smoked 20 plus...wil maybe get Shred to tune boost controller again.

I did the speed limit today..50 80 and 100kph. Exactly what my car is allowed to do..not what it can do.

So on which race track do u boyz do 250kph?

Amateur hour here..what should they look like?

Hi...Im experiencing some weird issues. Experiencing a lot of whining and hissing sounds and the boost doesnt come on evenly. A garage has said its just turbo whine but I know my car better than they do. For instance in second it effectively wont go past 10psi but it will in third..howver it goes to 10, sort of pauses and then goes straight to about 18/20 without any appreciable kick in the pants. Doesnt seem to do a straightline appreciable power curve like it did pre the new engine going into it. Does it need to go back on the dyno? What might be possible issues?

I could "spot ya" and stand around looking useless for an hour rather than doing that in the Hutt..say from 7pm Thursday?, Txt me if u need me.

switched boost from low to high..

preferably a cafe that takes bookings....but we wld need to say limit it to an hour to help table rotation if its say 10 people.!

Safely back after picking up Rexite..8 hours, max 3psi, 48 litres for 550 kms (must try boostless trips again. Seems okay..a few belt whines I think. Cant really tell till Im allowed to use more boost. Thanx to Qwerty for saying high at PBMS. Heaps of police of course..one at Paremat pulling someone who didnt ahve lights on at home or on car...lotsa tailgating idiots, one evasive left to avod head on and one 4wd owner who passed me twice at ends of passing lanes badly.
