  1. GO the T1-r or the re-001, the dunlops are shit they look really chubby on the rim and will in time get very noisey. If money lets ya try the New T1-Sports Asymetric tyre, i run the 215/35/18 on my 8.5s and they're fine, dont look overly stretched at all.
  2. Havnt seen this myself personally, have heard it referred to... ??? To be sure my sources aren't exactly firm on it... But I understand it to be some pretty severe forces involved to get the subframe to move, curbing/driving up a side-walk at 5 t 10 K/hr wont do it, but 50K/hr mite... But basically, they loosen the bolts/nuts, then realign it and do up the bolts/nuts... Yeh i did take this into consideration but as he has had all the control arms and hub replaced would suggest he hit pretty hard.. But yeh, through it up on a decent alignment machine and get someone that knows what they're doing to have a have a look at it, that why you can check ya SAI, Included angles etc, see how much setback if any etc..
  3. might have moved the subframe over a tad... i see it all the time. I do alot of crash damaged cars for AA Insurance.
  4. Yeh i know.... but do you know how hard it is to find some, i want the ones that wrap around the rear bumper rather then just the rear spat looking ones..
  5. Heres our new car, picked it up last weekend stock as a rock.... then had to do the usual Service work etc ( cambelt, waterpump, tensioners, belts, plugs, gearbox and diff oils, ) then the modding began K & N Panel filter in the factory airbox, modified for better flow 18 x 8.5 35p Wolf S36's and The new 225/35/18 Toyo T1-Sport tyres ( these are a very nice tyre ) Tint the car ( being a hatch the rear windows were already factory tinted ) so just had to do the fronts and very rear hatch window Split the head lights and paint the inner chrome housing black ( sooooo much better ) Tinted Tails and side markers ( Just not in these pics ) Modded the front grill Debadged Blacked the brake calipers etc So bearly seen the mrs this week hahaha, but she drives it more then i do so she cant complain.
  6. just get a wheel alignment done after... that way you know its mint.
  7. i can do the T1-Rs for ya but at that size your going to be looking at $900 incl with wheel alignment, so might be a bit out of ya price range.
  8. i'd leave the front toe where it is as they've increased the front camber and will compensate for the extra camber.. as for the rear toe i'd drop it slightly to about .3 or zero toe it, subbies like zero toe but with more camber it ok to have a little toe as it spreads the wear across the tyre rather then the edge. ps : It also depends on if their alignment reads in 60 mins or 100 too... and if your spec measurements are also done to 60mins or 100 too.. that does make a difference.
  9. I know the current owner of this car.. He has nothing to do with the orginal owner of the car, he purchased this from turners autions about 4-5 months ago for what he thought was cheap at the time.
  10. whats an reflash looking to set me back
