Hi all, as per above I am looking for a courier from the Hutt to either Taupo or Napier.
Item is a exhaust system and is broken in to 2 pieces so will fit in normal cars.
Happy to pay gas / time money or brews etc.
Cheers,
Mark
I would seriously look at a Murch turbo. I was in the same boat as you a couple of months back and was pretty close to snapping a Dom 1.5 from Blouch. After talking with Murch I settled on a TD05/06 with 22g wheel + a few extra little tweaks and best of all expect to be able to get a couple of tunes for the money saved!!
Just my 2 cents.
Just a quick one to see if anyone has used a version 8 twin scroll downpipe on a GC8?
Looking in to a TS conversion but am struggling with the DP, if it helps the car already has a 6 speed so it shouldn't clash with that.
Cheers,
Mark
I\'m locked and loaded, flights booked and entry for trackday & autocross sorted.
Will be based it Taupo at the folks place so if anyone needs anything just let me know.
lol. I guess you really love your BC.
I have competed against BCs in a GC a lot. From my experience, it takes a very good driver in a BC to beat a very average driver in a GC.
Now there is your info to back your statement up.
Always down to personal preference I guess, he states he wont be tracking it.....so on the road you shouldn\'t be finding the limits of the car \'legally\' that often. I say NA GC for reliability LOL.
Pretty big call mate with no info behind your statement.
GC will out handle a BC but you have to be able skilled enough for it to do so. BC are a slightly longer wheel base and are easier for \'joe average\' to handle through the twisty/track stuff.
But I guess Loner you are a professional driver, constantly at track days and race meets so yeah......
I got mine off a V6 STI RA, this was a non abs unit so cant be 100% sure on the abs ones.
Is clearly marked on the mater cylinder so easy to spot. Dansco auto dismantlers had one a while back (if that\'s what they are called, they are on this forum and TM).
Haha those were the good old days. That\'s me in the black GTB, my flatmate had a blue one (don\'t think it was in the video).
A bloody good day out with heap of track time, they even had people keeping lap times.
Was Davebro that sorted it out I think.
A VOS chip goes bloody well in a stockish RS, available from RSliberty forum.
Heaps of R & D and would use any day of the week over one of those \'other\'chips.
Try JRI Limited, I just got some 3rd party fire and theft and agreed value for under $500 a year. Was the only broker that would insure for an agreed value. They are underwritten by club auto and are nice and easy to work with.
Yep they are rare as the lips for the BC5, a few people re-make them in aussie but even then they go so bloody fast you have to be in quick. Then to get someone to send you one to NZ will cost you an arm and a leg due to the size (cheapest quote I got $400 + taxes), hence the reason I am bringing these back as oversized luggage.
Is now back up for grabs, $350 plus postage. Note that it wont be back in NZ until December and I can drop it off if you are located in Central North Island.
PM me if your keen.
