  1. 57 views and no advice, come on guys! I'm leaning towards the silver one, is that a reasonable price? I don't really know you see...
  2. buyer only pays for car licence from the day they buy it, the seller will get a bill in the mail for any lapsed licence. Make sure you fill out the correct change of ownership forms and you will be fine
  3. My bad: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=380846061 second one
  4. Hey guys, Want to buy an STI wagon, thinking about these two, any advice? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=353865710 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=353865710 Thought it was a bit strange the blue one has been on for so long... Any comments, advice or things to look out for would be much appreciated! Also, although I haven't met any of the Auckland members yet, would anyone be able to accompany me to look at them as I'm not much of a mechanic.... Cheers, Ben

    FLAT/RENT

oh no, you got suckered in to one of those flat sharing jobbies that have been on trademe for ever. You will be looking for a new place after a little while (sorry I'm not intentionally trying to be so negative)

170 including expenses (phone, net, power, sky) will get you a sweet room in Porirua, try $225 if you want to live anywhere near town
  10. AA check costs the same for mobile or in store afaik
  11. also installed gtlegacy's jvc speakers, loving the improved sound
  12. aligned the headlights and got a warrant, thanks for the pointers drfvdr
  13. ok, thanks for the heads up. I know my car started slapping louder after UEC but it definitely runs way better also
  14. If you use upper engine cleaner you will hear piston slap louder as the carbon deposits in the cylinders that will be burnt off with the UEC will currently be insulating the pistons against slapping. You will enjoy the better throttle response etc big time just saying don't be worried if it sounds a bit louder
  15. fixed the brake lights, exhaust leak and r/h steering rack boot. satisfying!
  16. Hutt City Panel & Paint on Pharazyn st are extremely good, pricey though but if an insurance jobby it's all good. Tony runs the place out there.
  17. take it in under warranty mate, tell them you want it fully checked out as is making unusual noises get cylinders & pisons measured etc. I can definitely hear piston slap as it is being reversed out of the garage
  18. I think your just paranoid bro!
  19. You can use mine if you want, I have 1/2 a bottle... can just replenish it some other time if you like
  20. I thought you were running 23psi? How does that work if the car is entirely factory? Also, no-one on here has heard your car prior to, or after the said work was carried out so it's a fairly ambiguous question to be asking. Maybe it just sounds different after they let the apprentice panel beater take it for a 160km/hr 23psi boost down the motorway...
  21. your the only person who can ensure it doesn't happen again..
  22. cheers but no corrosion anywhere going to grab a multi meter today and check if the socket is getting power to it etc, if no dice then I'll ask Jason very nicely if he can look at it this weekend
