  1. 2001 Blitzen. 133000kms Primary turbo went, changed that out, new primary only lasted 2 days, got second turbo replaced under warranty, while at workshop on the "test drive" BEB went. 5 months later and lawyers involved the engine was fixed.

    B4 RSK

All my subarus have done that. Just drive like a nana untill it warms up.
  3. Looke under you bonnet for the chassis plate. get model number (should be BE5A) then just look at any kit for a BE legacy..... No other legacys bumpers will fit. only 1998-2001.
  4. You might have to go aftermarket. Theres some cheap kits on trademe, or if you want some of the better Japan ones, give some of our club sponsors a call
  5. I third this aswell. No good having all the go fast shiny stuff if your driving skills arent going to use them to there full. If you have th money then buy a good set of shocks/springs. They dont have to be adjustables but if you have the money to get them, go for it. After that, then replace any worn parts like bushes etc etc. Do the easy stuff first. Even get some better tyres.... Once you have the basics covered and your starting to out-drive your car, then you can start looking at sway-bars and the rest. Small steps grasshopper
  6. You will need to make a up a support of some sort, as it WILL jump around and may damage you AFM. Just go to bunnings, buy a length of flat alloy bar for like $10, a drill and vice/ or knee to bend it with....... The zerosports one is a stainless mesh type filter as will. I ended up taking my one off after a while as it doesnt filter much dirt out. Replace the factory airbox and just kept the intake pipe, with a CAI and fram paper filter.
  7. to be honest, if you want a car that can tow the boat and the family, go with the falcon. even just a XR6. They are nice cars to drive and ride in.
  8. It is taking time getting use to how things are priced over here. But where i live for work, my housing, food, flights are all payed for by my company, add that to the fact that theres not alot to spend on. But then i have a gf living is central brissy so i have to pay for most of the rent and stuff there. But i still reckon im much better off over in aus than nz. Thou its a shock at trying to find a good use subi over here to buy.
  9. Just wanting to knwo how many ppl on the new and improved forums have jump ship and living in aussie?
  10. Mac @Fortyone should be able to find a new one for you. thou way exchange rate is, wont be cheapest.
  11. screw driver, 2x10mm spanner and 12mm socket with long extension for removing air box. remove intake pipe from engine with afm/airbox lid (dont forget to unplug AFM) Undo AFM from airbox lid and intake pipe from AFM. Put pod filter onto AFM. (get tricky with the bell mouth intake part and getting the screws to line up) dont forget to put the support stand on one of the bolts. Take off bottom off airbox from car. Install zerosports pipe and pod filter, line up support stand with the hole from the airbox. re use 12mm bolt. You might need to play around getting it to sit right. tigher and double check all bolts. DOnt forget to re-plug AFM in.
  12. There ECU's seem to be in demand when they pop up for sale. Have seen a few cars with there shocks fitted aswell. You can put them on the same list as Zerosports in my opinion.
