  4. never had the manifold off, never had any problems so not needed. if thats what factory im to assume it must need bigger injectors! All I know is that its a redtop ej20gdw5pe td05 555 engine with very high kms haha an the shell aint pretty herself. "hand built" by the sti team after wrx assembly line
  5. surely they are more than 380cc, putting out 280ps at 12psi.... im running an ej20g td05 pretty sure its been rebuilt as everyone has said to me, 190kms you should have shaft play.... an its tight, everything is factory as far as I know lol when you see mine I think you know what I mean eh.... your bc looks better than my car does regardless of its condition lol
  6. I shall look into the fuel setup then, hopefully I can get some rails to do that split rails mod. do 95 sti come with good injectors? I guess now that im going to take the intake off I could repaint it ALSO, running a couple more psi now because of the catless downpipe makes it flow better, would the extra psi make it run that lean?

Well I was planning to rebuild it when I could get a kit next week ... but now im wondering if theres some other problem.. dont wana rebuild it if its not faulty or its gona damage it worse... your welcome to come have a look, but I doubt you will be imprezed with the car (haha) bring the injector rail an boost tap with you?
  8. it was black last time i saw it haha,thats why I thought maybe oil starvation/got to hot, inside might be worse, would like to know if I should open for rebuild or not.no shaft play at all.might be something else causing me boost problems... basically, took the turbo off for a uppipe install an put a 3inch catles rage downpipe on it at the same time.... as well as a resonator an new muffler tip.ever since then its never boosted the same... Would by any chance this be wastegate failure, overboost turbo burns out sorta thing?

Hi there, I've spent the evening removing this an that form my PITA car, anyways my car was having boost problems, it would start an idle fine, but the boost wouldn't kick in until the late 5000rpm, I had no idea why as I thought I had installed it correctly after removing it for a up an down pipe replacement . So tonight I got this turbo off again an honeslty the fins I thought were bent are fine, only thing is, it looks alil "burnt" on the turbine wheel? I have photos but my stupid cell phone cord is not working >.< anyone can give me advice on what todo? I originally got advice from Tony (RDL performance) who thought it was badly installed turbo. I think its been starved of oil, but theres no smoke out the back... So what would give it this burnt look?
  10. I cut plastic as a job but not this kind nor would i be any good at this kind haha i would go with a fine saw like a gib saw style thing an just drill holes ectyo might wana mark out exactly where you want it b4 u do it measure twice cut onces an all

  18. so all the bolts holes are there then ;D, I didnt think it would be to hard todo but wasnt sure.. the only bright side to buying a fwd that I can think of is that when I do convert it I can go the full mile an give it a really good suspension setup prob cost me an arm an a leg thou
  19. just wondering how difficult this conversion would be? finally seen a nonturbo coupe but its FWD, just wondering what sorta problems this would give me later on down the track when I want to convert it to awd Obviously it will need diffs an driveshafts n cvs n that but more wanting to know weither its still setup for awd or weither everything would have to be custom installed
