  1. I thought a gimp was a guy in head to toe leather, that you abuse for fun....
  2. So, like this? Or...all camo?
  3. How's this for a 5 min job?
  4. How many km's had it done before it let go, it's not that old a car?
  5. Sorry to hear...but, you mentioned whanau, so, i'm guessin you won't see a cent... I like the defence that he doesn't have a job and has no money, must use that when i crash into someone's beema...oh no, hang on, i'm white, i'm accountable...
  6. I pay the same attention to the phone law as i do the speed limit...and the seatbelt thingy too... If 'I' think it's safe to do so, then i will...
  7. No worries, i personally would go for the all gold, especially in a semi matt, like the photoshop looks there... Although i had a black LegacyGT (first subaru) and had a set of those old 15inch rally rims powdercoated white, so i kinda like that too...
  8. Only took about 5 min to do them all... and, who sleeps anyway...
  9. Also, full white: Full gold: Matt black: and bronze:
  10. The correct term is 'VERY HIGH MAINTENANCE' ;D "If it's got T1T's or Tyres, it's gonna give you trouble..."
  11. I found the biggest difference with a 'Trunk Bar' from Cusco. Even though the Spec c had a front tower brace (cusco) rear tower brace (carbing) and coilovers (buddyclub), the trunk bar made a huge difference to the rear... They go at the rear of the trunk, ends bolt to chassis rails (kinda) and two points bolt to bulkhead while centre bolts to where the boot latch is attached. Approx $350 new, much better return for $$$ than a strut brace...
  12. Seen that, but don't see it on trademe no more... Or, is it undercover... ;D
  13. None of my 5 subaru's leaked...and a couple were nearly at 200,000km... The truck has 254,000 on it, no oil from engine or box... Check those bolts again...
  14. Nah, steady hand with a paint pen... ;D
  15. Yeah, the caliper paint kit from repco is real good. Used it on the Spec c, and, although its a brush on, and looks like it isn't covering right and gonna turn out ****...it actually dries to an almost powder coat look, very impressed.

    vf22 on a forester?

I put a VF22 onto my 97 WRX wagon (originaly TD04), no issues (ran 16-17psi naturally, no controller). Go ahead, just don't wind it up too high.
  17. If 'Fag & Turdo' recomend it, stay well clear... Go Toyo Proxes 4 if you want some good tyres that grip and last, or T1R's if you wanna push it in the corners...
  18. I'd stick to 17's, especially if you have (or are planning to fit) coilovers... And go with a nice branded 235/45R17. But if you really want 18's, then go for 18x8 with a 235/40R18 (run 35 series and you might as well take a hammer to your rims now)... ;D
  19. 7.5 is factory width... Can't go too wide with factory suspension. Had 17x8's onthe Spec c, with 45 offset, 'just right'.
  20. 50 or 53 is supposed to be factory, 48 should fit, but it depends on the design of the spokes...
  21. [quote name='WRXTAC said: but if i were to upgrade the turbo i would put a siamese downpipe in at same time, while the turbo was off. /quote] Yea I was meaning before the turbo. Ya cheeky bugger NO, NO, No...the down pipe definately goes AFTER the turbo... ;D
  22. Aha, that's why it looked familiar...
