  1. 540km (open road, long trip) on 50L tank. 98 only. ...can get way less though...
  2. We just quoted a guy who wanted a supercharger for his Mustang; keep in mind, this is an everyday mod in the states so due to volume, quite cheap. He was still looking at $15-18,000NZ and that is for one that is already designed with no custom bits... and that's just for parts... Do yourself a favour and buy a V8 or V9 or V10 STI, it'll be cheaper...
  3. Depends who you ask... Ra is the Rally model, so being stripped out, without extra's and having wind up windows etc makes it a real RA. However, there were also STI RA's made. They had more extra's, and were heavier (off the top of my head, i think around 60-80kg), but came with roof vent, DCCD, firm sti seats and better spec'd engines... Much like the later Spec C's came in two flavours, one stripped out (RA) with wind ups, small brakes and DCCD, the other with electric windows, Brembo's and no DCCD. Both, like the GC8 Ra's, were lighter than the equivilent STI model, but one was weighted in favour of comfort, and one wasn't... ;D Again, off the top of my head: GC8 STI: 1250kg GC8 STI Ra: 1190kg GC8 Ra: 1140kg GDB STI(V7): 1490kg GDB STI RA(V7): 1390kg GDB STI Spec C (V7): 1340kg GDB STI RA Spec C (V7): 1290kg
  4. I can tell you now, that the second one is the one i'd go for. The first one is a non-sti Ra. Basically an NA impresa with a turbo. The second one is an STI Ra; way more good bits and a better car (unless your going to strip it and rally it), and then still probably a better base model.
  5. try 200kg's of airbags, electric windows, thick glass, interior trim, sound deadening, paint, underseal, thick panels, large gas tank, body kit etc... Even the Subaru four pots are awsome when your car only weighs 1290kg...

    Mag Rebuild

Wheel fix it have a store on Wairu Road in Glenfield...
  8. Shame the RS-R has been butchered. Either of the WRX's should be a better buy than the RS-R though (if only it was original). Chances are, no matter which of these three you got, motor would pack a sad not long after...all look to have ben USED, if you know what i mean...

    Mag Rebuild

NOTE: They also finish around 4pm on fridays too...
  10. Proxes 4's have a tread wear index of 300...if you wear them down that quick, i'd hate to see how long an R888 lasted.

    Certs

When the certifier thinks it's too low... You could have a car only 50mm from ground and still be certified as being safe and legal... The 100mm rule is there as a catch all for cars that haven't been certed.

    BOOST GAUGE

Sender, or sensor. And, you'll probably need the right one for this particular gauge...hope you didn't pay too much for it.

    Certs

For a certed vehicle, the 100mm rule does not apply.

    Gen 1 Forester Bonnets:
  16. DPI

    Carbon

The BG and later model (BH?) both have the GC8 turbo scoop and WRC style radiator vent (only style for legacy). We have a couple in stock, and have fitted one to BG, looks REAL NICE, and rare as i don't know of anyone else who does legacy and gen 1 forester carbon but us.
  17. Zerosports are a good brand. This should fit in place of the clock centre section perfectly. The price seems a bit on the high side, as we were selling carbon ones for around $400 and fibreglass for around $275

    Forester Carbon...

We only got them out of customs yesterday. Anyway, fitting one tomorrow (so only four left), will take a photo and post tomorrow, but to be honest, the bonnets use your own hinges and latch so if they work, then the bonnet will.
  19. Factory fitment, all good. Doesn't mean you can do it to somthing else... Otherwise, we'd all be aloud to run exhausts that put out as much noise as a factory fitted system on a bus/truck...or Harley... ...funny,that!
  20. my v7sti shocks in the forester do this in the rear. still handles ok. but when you come to a stop,it will take a few seconds then you hear a bump noise in the rear and they push up. dont know why like yourself. i thought they were ok,obviously maybe not :-\ That delay and then bump is telling you that (not uncommonly) your V7 STI rear struts are shagged. Mine were toast at 60,000km and SUBARU wanted $1300 a pair for new ones, hence why i have coilovers, it was the cheaper option (HUH). Something to do with the inverted strut being badly designed by either [KYB] or [sUBARU] so as to leave almost no room for a seal.
  21. Yeah, not like those rare as, beat up old legacy's that are so past their use by date...
  22. And boy, can those big cats drink... The V12 XJS was so thursty, if you left it running while filling, you could be there all day... ;D
  23. Now, that's a broad statement. I'd hardly call 1290kg bloated...
  24. Hell yeah, Ripped! Also, might pay to name the dealer here so anyone else buying from them knows to double check the car before it leaves the yard (cause once you drive off, they don't want to know).
