  4. Late 80's or early 90's Honda Civic, Non Vtec... Runs on smell of oily rag, reliable, drives reasonably well... Or if that offends Late 80's early 90's Holden Barina Runs on smell of oily rag, reliable, drives reasonably well... Or if that offends Drive a subie then see the above again ;D
  5. Its also cool because it weighs a ton (compared to others) and can maim or kil birds or small rodents when thrown hard enough... ;D ***Just kidding***
  6. My V1 has never given false alarms (to my knowledge) either... [quote name='DRFVDR said: the V1 is designed for left hand drive vehicles so the screen(arrows and threat indicator) point in wrong direction Designed and built for left hand drive = Yes The arrows however aren't affected as u]left is still left, right is still right and front is still front and back is still back[/u]... The only thing that is affected is the direction of the sound output, this can be fixed by buying the remote sound module... or simply just not worrying about it...

At testing stations expense I hope... They would not be in business any more if it was my car that was damaged intentionally like that

  11. Yip me a Muppet, should have read the entire topic Sweet someone else knows the word Muppet and uses it Anyways my 2cents: start with the cheaper option of replacing stuff (if it is a spring it will bound to be cheaper than say a rebuilt box...) Disclaimer I aint no mechanic but like money in my pocket... Master Muppet out ;D
  12. Yes. Its easy but you have to take care and be prepared. a) remove the surround from its home b) there are small metal circles on small thin frail plastic stalks... be nice to them and take them off slowly (You will thank yourself if you remove them without destroying things) c) remove plastic frame holding gearboot on and remove boot (it is glued on so be carefull) d) clean old residue off e) install new one - here you can either glue or not f) do above in reverse PS I did this 4 years ago so may have missed some detail - just take your time and be patient
  13. Jarod's all good. A man that can create the Eiffel Tower from timber has got some skills!

  21. Comparative year models should be similar in most respects, i.e. MY99 WRX should be similar to MY99 GT/GTB Scale of economy dictates to a large extent what is same (some things like brake calipers etc may differ but the real bread n butter stuff will be the same)
  22. I wouldn't bother doing it via Ebay - they have been going for stupid prices. I picked up a Industrial 250Amp Tig (with foot control) for the old man from Trade tools and flicked it onto NZ for him (Tig was $2198 and freight was about $100 surface freight to NZ) Just check their website out: http://www.tradetoolsdirect.com/
  23. Sweet I have heard that, from which models would be best? Early 91 Legy on or earlier
