  1. Crap, I think im in the same boat. Except mine is a vf23. Proper parts may be best?
  2. Just get a ready made set at the height you want, there only 150- 200 second hand. Its not worth buggering about or the risk for that price. 2 tanks of gas and its done properly.
  3. Plenty of air con, and is always at the ambeient temperature.
  4. I think we need a 4wd drive day! Just as long as its close to gisborne, anymore than 40mins in the landy and I ve had enough
  5. I bet he tells you you have a softy terrano as well ;D My landy not only looks good it also has 3.3l of holden grunt.
  6. Sorry, when you change the leaky up pipe. Personally I wouldnt worry about the headers to much unless you were going for massisve power, but thats me.
  7. Dtech as above. Im not a fan of road tunes, I had one done on my old sti, it was a long way out once it got on the dyno.
  8. You and your softy terrano. Get a real mans 4wd!
  9. Just about ran out of gas this morning on the way to work, apparently I dont have a large reserve.
  10. You get a bit quicker boost response with the change as well. Easy enough to do yourself.
  11. Brought a turbo off the man above. Fingers crossed for some full boost excitement and a successful fitting this weekend
  12. The wof inspector wouldnt give me a woof as it didnt match what the plate said. Had the panel repairs i want to get done priced today. Didnt scare me too much, so that will hopefully take place in the 18months or so.
  13. Still on your car, I can add the dirty rag in the pic to my offer if you like?
  14. Cert plate was for adjustables and slotted rotors. No more adjustables (back to standard with springs) meant I had to go back to the cert guy and get it removed to say it was back to normal. Slotted rotors never had to be certified, so I dont know why they were on it. All cost me nothing so i didnt care.
  15. Piccies after my clean the other day, will update once the spotlight covers are painted and fitted. What colour stickers were standard on black type rs?
  16. Went to wash the interior of the windows, decided to wash the outside then got carried away and did a full polish then wax, then did the interior windows. Few photos of clean car to. Photos below shows a supposedly clean car after a wash and the line is where I polished to, quite a difference for you lazy buggers that just use a wash and wax. Also had cert plate removed so i can get a warrant and new spot light covers turn up, test fit improved fron look markedly, paint and stickers to come before they are glued in place.
  17. New boost gauge and confirmed I only have 10pound of boost. Discovered my turbo is pissing oil, so im in desperate need of the vf30 or vf34 upgrade. Have a few other things to tidy up once I get the new turbo to.

Your not wrong, it basically asking to be ripped off by the frist possums testacles
  19. I too had the exact same problem with the exact same solution. Except mine were hks rocks
  20. There all fat now, chubby little buggars. Surfing is the best excercise, plus its fun.
  21. Your just trying to hock it off, shame on you
  22. Shit that must have been along time ago. ;D In my opinion Type r's and BC5s will be the ones to have. BC5s are already pretty hard to find one thats any good and as metioned above type rs are quickly being written off the road or ruined by boy racers. Even since ive had mine ive heard of two or three that have gone out in parts. Ive spent a bit of time around wreckers since ive had my car : and they are all saying getting parts for them is getting real hard. But i think thats the same of v5 and v6 stis anyway.
