I'm hoping for a high 12, my last car was a 01 SS V8 and did flat 13 second quarters all day and I would gutted if my v7 wouldn't beat those times, sti is harder to drive considering the v8 was auto. Will be interesting.

Hey all had a great day at Torque Performance yesterday and was good to get the car on the rollers and meet some more great people, I made 207 kw at 21.5 psi and was wondering what quarter mile times that would roughly give me on street tyres, full interior and good launch. Going to head down soon to night wars and give the car a few runs, maybe we can get a crew to go down and represent club sub. Come on Pappu !!!

If you don't mind me asking how to you find the controller ? does your boost stay rock solid or does it still taper off towards redline, I'm looking at getting one ?

Car all sorted with factory sock, highly recomend using the factory sock over the walbro one. Twisty roads here I come

Hey all I have a knocking sound over bumps when driving from my suspension , is this common and can anyone grease them for some beers or do I need to go to a suspension shop etc. It might be my exhaust hitting but I don't think so.

Sorry guys have the basics already with reflash, walbro, 3 inch turbo back, gizzmo msibc boost controller and k/n panel filter( got told to by the same mechanic to change to paper ones ).Car drives very well but was wanting more top end power, maybe a better ebc is required to hold boost better but have been told that the vf30 starts to run out of puff and will only push hot air after 6500rpm even it did hold with say a hks evc4. Maybe a shot of nitrous will do the trick lol ( dream world )

Hey all what do you guys think of these turbos, I meet a Subaru mechanic today and he has one on his sti v7 and has put 4 on customers cars and reckons they are sweet as and they are great value for the price and will give me more punch than my vf30 ?? I know they are chinese but what isnt these days lol Also what would my vf30 be worth realisticly ??

My mate has 2002 b4 and getting rage front pipes, y pipe and custom 3 inch exhaust, he is also getting a tdo4 primary turbo and walbro fuel pump. Workshop up in Auckland has done one on his own b4 and said it made a huge difference and drove like a sti. Hope my mates car is finished for our dyno day coming up. Back to the exhaust I have been told the turbos sometimes dont like the extra boost from the frontpipes and the ecu can have problems,some shops in Auckland won't touch the front pipes as when you remove the cat it puts the ecu in limp mode. They seem like a hard car to modify in some ways.

John from Extreme car audio ( installer for parallel imported in albany) knows his stuff, mobile service and really sweet pricing, have dealt with Rapid Radio and Hotwire and found they did a good job but totally over priced. Also Riki at Hyper in Penrose is good and with good pricing also. Used the walbro sock, damn maybe I shouldn't have thrown the old one away. Might have to get a spec c surge protector.

Hi everyone having issues when driving thru twisty roads or boosting hard after roundabout or tight of corner, only does it with under half a tank of gas. Have been told I need a spec c fuel something( I forgot what they are called ) in the tank or a surge tank. Does anyone have this problem. I never had this problem before reflash, ebc , walbro etc.

Hey all just went for a warant of fitness and old mate doing the warant asked if this car had a blowoff valve ? I replied it did but was factory so wasn't releasing air into the atmosphere only thru the airbox etc. Then old mate said any blow off valve that vents directly into atmosphere will fail a warrant soon with a new law getting passed. Has anyone heard of this ??
