Australia have their P-plate system which seems to be successful AFAIK
if that was implemented here we would see a TON more SHALE-like cars (not an insult just a fact)
ever read the old Fast Fours mag and IIRC there was a fwd Lancer "done up" to look like a Evo due to P-plate restrictions
