  1. Yes, the Ek4 from Gisborne. Such a quick car if traction can be held. The twin plate in it made it a b!tch to drive though lol. I had a b16a with a chinese t04e turbo making 180wkws. It went well within the time i had it. Then the oil seal problems arose for the next owner.
  2. They seem to be a good turbo. My friend had a masterpower t3/t04e on a b18c motor which made 220wkws @ 8psi via crome tune. He doesn't own the car anymore but it's still around running the same turbo as far as i know. Keep away from the Chinese turbos as stated in this thread. The seals tend to go very early on them.
  3. Its amazing how much more satisfied i am after Rick dealt with my squeaky seatbelts. I hated the sound every time i jumped into the car. Cheers Rick ;D
  4. Damn, i have this problem too! That's the last of my problems at the moment haha. Looking forward to getting my car back off Rick. Rick, your customer service is A+. Very knowledgeable, prompt and friendly.
  5. That's ratshit as man. I live in the Hutt. Will keep an eye out for you dude.
  6. Considering you're in the Wellington region, you're best bet is STM. http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,4434.0.html Prices of Remaps/flashes are listed. This is providing you own a V7 onwards.
  7. The Car Distribution Group. Shipped my old car from Wellington to Auckland. Well-priced and a good service.
  8. As said above, if you're Rex is standard, there's no point in a STi ECU unless you have the mods to support it. Even if you did have mods done to it, I'd personally get a remap, just a peace of mind that the tune is exactly for your car and the modifications.
  9. looking mint tho bro! is it on sti red kyb? or the black kyb? hmmm anyone know for sure if the BG bilstiens are longer/same length as the red sti kyb from v7 will post mine once lower it a tad There limited edition purple ones. Damper adjustable.
  10. Lowering Springs on KYB Shocks. Being a poor uni student is restricting me from a set of adjustables and new wheels.. *sighs*
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong, those are Rota Grids. There coming in this first shipment.
  12. I'm actually moving back down to the flat in the Hutt this Thursday. Might be able to attend and meet the wellington crew
  13. Very strange.. Gave the gauge a couple of flicks on top and now shes working fine again. Lol
  14. Makes sense. I usually end up hitting the control unit when i get in the car as its right next to my leg. Cheers dude will have a look tomorrow
  15. If the wires were supposedly broken, would the gauge light still light up when i turn my headlights on?
  16. Hoping this was the right section to put it in. Recently noticed that my boost gauge does not read. Was working fine since yesterday on the way to Wellington. It seems the boost gauge itself and controller work fine as the gauge lights still turn on with headlights. I have checked all the wiring and nothing seems to be loose. Vacuum wise, i took off the boost gauge vacuum line off and there seems to be suction. So i'm assuming that the sensor is faulty?
  17. Are you sure your WRX is on superlows? Looks very high for superlow springs.. I know you have a budget around $500, but in my opinion, wheels such as Advan RGs would suit your car very nicely. They're a little outside your budget but such a nice and light rim. Otherwise these Prodrive wheels are pretty nice. Maybe get them powdercoated in White. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Wheels-tyres/Alloy-wheels/auction-350940124.htm Then save up for some coilovers and slam it
