  1. Yer follow my instructions and you'll be away laughing
  2. Should go alright, however in that pic they are using it for water lines as well. It doesn't say it's triple-braided, so I'd check if it was. If not, don't use it for water lines, you can get other kits for them.
  3. Yeah it's only about half strength, and not from a very long range either.
  4. The last alignment and balance that Tonys tyre's did on my car, they put in 34psi on front, and 32psi in rears. This is on 225/40/18 Toyo T1R's.
  5. Yep I'm also a Bel STI user, and although I've never used a V1, I'm very happy with the STI. I haven't turned the K Band off, but by all accounts the new speed cameras are using that now, so I just put up with all the false alerts.
  6. Yep and Redline will give you member discounts That is.. if you are a member
  7. Sweet, let us know of any problems it causes you (if any), so we can tell others about them
  8. It'll be an asian version of the Panasonic unit. The Panasonic unit is the only brand-name unit that has all this functionality, although you won't get much change from 2k. In fact check out this auction - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-stereos/DVD-video/auction-218548168.htm The guy in this one has the panasonic unit, and he reckons it's about $1000. My flatmate was also contemplating getting one, I asked around a few places, and even though the functionality is all there, the actual usability of it all is average at best. Apprently Pioneer are releasing new units in competition to the Panasonic ones, I'm sure they'd be pretty trick, as Pioneer is traditionally an excellent company for stereo headunits.
  9. That's good to know :-) If you're looking for car sound advice from people who really know their stuff, then log on to www.nzicemag.co.nz and check out what's for sale there. People are often selling stuff and many don't mind helping new people out.
  10. Ah yes LOL. Guess it depends what type of feeler gauge you have
  11. .028? That's teeny tiny!! I'm running .78 I think.
  12. Danny from Xyberautos tried to do a group buy for different kinds of silicon hoses for different cars, last year but it didn't really come off that well. Don't know if he frequents this site now but I'll send him an email to see if he wishes to bring it up again.
  13. 41 don't have anything on their website listed for Subaru
  14. DSR kits are alright. But there aren't any listed on Trademe at the moment. Not even any listed on their website.
  15. Where in NZ are you?
  16. I still smile when I think about how much I paid for my Bel STi. $500 off Trademe, all original accessories and wiring
  17. Speed Source Up north offer their basic package of a Tune + High Flow Filter for $900, which will apparently net about 300hp, which is. what... 230kw?
  18. If you wanted to get some really flash gaskets, you can get some thermal ones that will keep the intake temperatures right down, but they pretty expensive.
  19. Yeah well a Spec C loaded with sound gear will still be lighter than a standard STi loaded with sound gear haha! Nah it'll be a minimal sound install. Something that will sound nice but not have to boom all the neighbours out! Any decent money spent will be on performance and handling mods Different focus for a different kind of peformance car And yeah I also saw the one on 20's hahaha.
  20. Reflective Silver one for me please
  21. I've never looked at your parcel tray Mel.. I don't even know if there were speakers in there? Your rear ones were in your doors. Although there may have been a factory "sub" which is actually just a 1-way 6x9 I hate dealing with sedans and their parcel trays haha!
