Nightwars is situated about halfway between auckland an hamilton. the season starts on the first friday of november an carrys on every 2nd friday for a couple of months. Al you need is wof,reg ,helmet an a current drivers license. for all car enthusist an a time to see all kinds of quick street cars race. My opinion is nightwars an rota nats are the best events of the year.

Hi all just been talking with chris one of the lead members of project car club in auckland. He was looking at hireing out the meremere track for the day in a couple of months but need to see if theres much interest first. His aim was to get alot of clubs together for the event. I did see that clubsub members wanted to do one. If we all join along it will keep the cost down and have alot of people from all around north island If your interested just state . Thanks

I just tap the throttle at around 3000rpm like 0.5sec in an 0.5 sec off throttle when about to launch hold throtle down for 1sec which should bump it upto 4500-5000rpm an slip clutch out. Ive tried it with all my setups an never let me down , down the strip big turbos I just added a few more split seconds on for throttle an away I went

I told you bro cams aint just a easy cheap home job to do best to pull engine out an set cams up correctly with necceassary machining and make sure all clearances are checked. Well you do that you mozwel build the motor to match cams as your standard motor will find it a struggle to keep up with your high power demand 280kw plus cams will surely meet u past the 300kw. Cheaper in the long run to do together instead of running your factory motor itll be a ticking time bomb. Mind you have heard good things about v7 engines bein reliable tho

If you already got a aftearket suxh as a link or spmething ecu with boost control in it just buy a $100 mac solinoid an run it off ecu.runs awesome in mine holds boost solid an never cuts or spikes and cheaper

i agree,bein a small business I new he wouldnt fix the problem an came up with every excuse in the book to come out of it. But like u said if he was a reputable mechanic he would have done it but he would rather lose his reputaion for a couple hours labour

yup wer looking into it now. Have past txt,emails of him agreeing to doin the work and not doin it,also have invoices etc And witnessz such as tuner and fabricator,head specs saying he new it was faulty but was asking for money from the specs and when the head specs said no he refused to do the stems on my car till I took things to consumer council then he agreed
