Wof fail on..

hey guys

failed a wof and i knew it would of, my rear diff bushings that sit in the rear sub frame are torn.. so my mate hookd me up a Foster sub frame with mint bushings, i own a bh9 legacy, are the sub frames the same or gotta take the bushings out?

if so what sorta tool would work best to push the bushings out. been told to use some sorta press?

they need to be pressed out, AFAIK the BH subframes are different, take it to a subaru dealer, they should have a little tool to be able to press it out without having to remove the subframe. one of my old mechanics made one up to use with a scissor jack other wise it\'ll be another 2+ hours labour to remove and refit the subframe.

Those early bushes suck and you cant get aftermarket urathane bushes for them. I swapped to a v7/8 subframe which have a diff hanger that you can unbolt off the car making it easy to press out. also better geometry would be a bonus if your car is lowered
