Yea i got there about 7pm. Was pretty clear a lot of people thought that it was going to be canned, it was a quiet night for them from what i was told. I did four runs between 7:30 and 8:45.

Yeah they look like they're there, just not sure what to do about the clips through the middle.

I don't want to get too wrapped up in what RA's should and shouldn't have, just want some tips on how I can modify my car to make it look the way I want it to. Cheers

Hi guys Have just managed to pick up a full set of skirts and end caps to "update" my V4 RA. Has anyone tried putting these on before and is there an easy way or do I need to be modifying the underside of my car to accept the clips etc. Cheers Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I think they run quite close to some critical plastic parts underneath like the bottom tank of the radiator and can be hot so that needs to be considered. Sent from my SM-A500Y using Tapatalk

Ultimately the decision is yours. You could have the quality of the oil in the sump, inspected for particles etc. That would tell you straight away if you need to do it more regularly than you are at the moment. Sent from my SM-A500Y using Tapatalk

Think of it like this, which is more expensive? Spending a bit more on quality oil and a genuine filters or rebuilding a motor? Big end bearing or ringland failure can be caused by a couple of things but properly protecting your engine is the best way to prevent it from happening. Yea there is a bit of a stigma in this country about Boxer engines. But it's not limited to just them, also Rotary engines get bagged heavily as well. I'm assuming It did because they did a run and told me the timing was quite out. It was last dyno'd in 2010 when it was installed but since then turbo and the dump pipe has been changed since then so that makes sense why it's out. Hi team My V4 is currently in Possume Bourne Motorsport for a health check and dyno run. Since the initial run they have not been able to communicate with the Microtech ECU, they have tried multiple dongles and laptops with no luck. Has anyone else had an issue like this? The ECU was purchased in 2010 so isn't that old but now i'm looking at having to replace the ECU with a Link G4. Which isn't all that bad, just curious to hear if this has happened to anyone else.
