  4. Hey guys, thanks heaps for all the feedback. I have pretty much decided it will either be the 2012 forester (because it looks like a flash outdoors/suv type car) or the Golf GTI. As to which I will end up buying? Will probably come down to whenever I find an example of either that meets my very picky high standards. I think honestly I would be happy with either as the Forester kinda says "hey im doing ok enough to have a new looking car and I probably do cool NZ outdoors stuff" Where as the Gti kinda presents an effortless modern appearance without being too showy.

  5. Hi all, I feel its time for another catch up! I don't know about all of you but with this cold weather my car has been hibernating so what better excuse to take the cover off and make BP's profits go up for the day then a ClubSub meet! Instead of going just for coffee this time I thought we could grab a bite to eat also. When & Where?? 12th August at 2.00pm Gerry's charcoal chicken 4 Keys St, Upper Hutt, 5018 Gerry's has great food for those who haven't been and have a car park out the back for the cars and plenty of seating

  6. Manifold patterns are due to the head version/phase, not short block. I'm sure the engine builder will have the best advice.

  7. You already said it happens when the car isn't moving... check the engine mounts, transmission mount and pitch stopper.

  8. I have been installing a hydraulic handbrake for the last couple of weeks... took a week and many attempts to bleed it... still doesn't work. Very annoying. Either it still has air in the system though the foot brake feels completely normal... or I got the wrong size master cylinders, too big. It's a twin cylinder unit in order to keep the diagonal redundancy.
