Factory BOV's. Tried swapping them around, but taht didnt work.

Had my clutch done today. I get it back and notice its got loud flutter under WOT and high boost. This is not Flutter when lifting off, but under WOT. I'm picking possibly a leaking intercooler hose? or some other kind of vacum leak? any ideas?

Good Point. I believe a full 2.5" turbo back system with a siamese downpipe on the primary works wonders. Only issue is that pre EJ20R, such a mod has a tendancy to overspool. I've been told that EJ20Rs onwards arent at such risck of overspool, But i can't comment on the accuracy of that information!

Semi Forged are lighter than forged, the don't expand as fast but they do expand more. Um, thats about as much as i know. V3/4 and EJ20R had semi forged.

I bought my RSB (nz new, FSH etc) at 93k six months ago its now at 113k. This is what ive done so far: Cambelt, Idlers, Tensioners and all applicable seals Wheel Bearing Diff, Gearbox fluids Spark Plugs Clutch gets done tomorrow Rocker Cover seals need attention. All normal maintenece items..

My moneys on a worn bush somewhere. Possibly on the swaybar or end links.

All i know is that I have to spend yet MORE money on my bloody car! (needs a clutch too) ;D

I understood that AFM cleaner _can_ bugger them eh. I'm not willing to test this theory yet as the cheapest i can get an orange sticker AFM for my RSB is $570!

From personal experience: If your secondary turbo stops working in your TT, and you get Code 65, and you have a ZS Sequential controller, you are getting a short somewhere (bullet connections FTL). A quick work around until you can find the offendig wires and slap them upside the head is to pop the face off of the controller (squeeze each end) where you will find a little button. Press it. This resets the controller. Turn car back on, cel code is gone and secondary is back online.

Oh, and instead of vice grips (which can fall off, look ugly, and damage the cable) theres another notch further up on the plate the cable attaches to. Simply detach the cable, pull it taught, and move it up there.

mate, just a few dollars at plumbing world and some good planning will get you as good results as any aftermarket intake. Mine sucks air from just behind the fog light/cornering lamp through a large diameter drain pipe which is connected to another, smaller piece of drain pipe via a big-small drain pipe adapter thing. lol. The small bit is a perfect fit for fitting inside the airbox where the snorkle normally goes. This gave me instant gains on spool up on primary and had a small positive effect on vod. will take pics over the next day or two to clarify. The next step was a ZS sequential controller. Best investment i ever made! i now have next to NO vod and get a good punch in the back at around 4800. Only complaint i have is that i need to be in third to really exploit it, and thats bye bye car material if in the wrong place at the wrong time kind of deal... :-X
