Yeah, its a matter of what i can find on the market. Out of the coupe models, what ones are regarded as better then the rest? I prefer function over form (which is a change these days) so if shes a little dated im not too worried.
Hi there
Ive been looking at purchasing a Coupe 97 Type r Impreza and have a few questions.
I believe they go by the same gc8, basic identification, but do all gc8 parts fit on the coupe such as suspension,
sway bars etc?
Or put another way, what sedan bits wont go on the coupe (bar the rear doors...... )
Thanks for ya time, Ben
i got 2 brand new bridgestone MY01 (215, 40, R17 fitted, balanced, and car aligned for $385 in total, they didnt charge me freight either. All from a phone call, no special deal. And to be honest the pressure they run them here arent fantastic for maximum grip, (35-40psi at a guess) but they dont look like they've aged a day, plus feel good in the pouring rain we've been having recently, reduced hydroplane feel.
Also a good idea to remove some paint if the holes alittle dodgy. Not much, just enough for the connector to get the best contact, as some paint can be thick and stubbon. Good quality cables and keeping them separated from the power and earth should also help. I found that different EQ settings can have a affect on sound quality so try them out. Hope that helps some ;D
Aww now thats a car i want to follow around town stalkerlike! I just hope they dont come out with a 1500cc model like the past...which someone did this to....http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Subaru/impreza/auction-337475644.htm BOO!
To add another to the mix. there is also the RX model. We have a motu edition RX2.0 non turbo subaru. Comes with different seats, suspension, wheels, number plates and probably some other stuff in there as well.
you dodged a bullet there...!
yeah they have been talking about this on the honda site. Looking at some of the gains in turbo cars is very promising with One car it had a 100kw gain on a already maxed set up due to the colder temps with running corn . On the net it seems that gains are really only going to come from proper tuning. Apparently you loose around 30% efficiency (some american suv's). I like the look of the fuel it just needs the tweaks worked out, and maybe a tune ;D
im no expert ill just regurgitate what ive heard
