  1. From my experience of owning both in wagon form the 3.0L is a little better on fuel for sure.. but then its all how you drive either in the end.. i had a manual gtb and now auto gt30 and the auto i think counts a lot towards more calm and smooth driving around town rather then jumping on the turbo for 2nd gear then driving calmly once in 3rd or 4th..
  2. dont worry found them all in the other thread!! look awesome!!
  3. Nice work DPI!!! hopefully more to come from that day!
  4. like the lights in the grill set up! and mechanically i was told your car runs a slightly bigger turbo then standard.. but the guru's on here will tell you more..
  5. The LEGACY B4 GT300 made its racing debut at Fuji Speedway a few weeks back in Round 7 of the 2009 SUPER GT series, marking a new direction for STi with their first fully-backed GT programme getting underway at the legendary circuit. Subaru is, of course, no stranger to SUPER GT, having given factory support, in particular during the 2008 season
  6. Another one to try is stu at stubaru - www.stubaru.co.nz definitely knows his stuff when it comes to subaru's! He is always happy to help and is pretty much in the center of town so easy for people to get the cars to..
  7. maybe another port of call... singapore version of clubsub.. wonder if they will enjoy him slandering there countries name in scamming us with a non sti.. http://www.subaruclubsg.com/forum/ just a thought..
  8. Hey Been trying to decide if I like the new wagon or not but have come to the conclusion like most that its a bit of a dog.. I hear its been a change in the designer so hence its lost the essence of the original versions.. Was trying to pin point whats so different and came up with 2 very simple rules that have been applied to nearly every legacy so far.. 1. The pillars have minimal plastic or steel between them so the glass looks seamless all the way along the sides and wrapping around the back 2. The front lights are always wide and low.. not extending up the bonnet like the new model.. So with a bit of photoshopp'ing i have managed to come up with more of the original essence i think that is missing.. (its a bit rough so dont look to close but gives a good overall impression) The new legacy Putting the above designs back into it Oh and of course sorry have put some nicer wheels and changed the back window slightly.. What do you think? Does anyone have any other variations of it to make the factory one look a bit better?
  9. Impressed not only do you have the same quality wagon but notice the rims.. The owner before me was setting up the RX2 as a Group N rally car and had a lot more access to Mazda rally parts from a Familia gtx so he completely changed the hubs, brakes, and internal rotors and therefore the stud pattern to fit his mazda's 4 stud pattern so he could save some coin on mags and tires for it.. Was told at the time it was one of the only ones in the country like it.. in terms of after market mags G-unit - thanks for comments on the gt30 mags - look great but bitch to clean!!
  10. My first Subbie.. Its not a legacy but had to start somewhere.. Very nice RX2 Second Sub.. and first Legacy.. TS-R.. Lived most of its life up the ski field so was more known for this very nice look.. Then we moved on and got this weapon!! 99 GTB - long list of add-ons and power to burn! Was a bit low for the ski field so had to raise her up on the adjustable's but still lower then standard by couple mm Once the big end bearing went doing this i fixed and sold.. but had a lot of fun doing it! Now i have gone a bit more subtle.. GT30.. awesome car! not as fast but man its not far behind!! Up at Mt Cook and in the mountians where it loves it! One of the dealer's shots when i bought it.. still shiny Thats my legacy and Subbie history.. So far...
