  1. Wormald , was advised by the MSNZ technical manager that they had organised for them to hold stock of the straps.
  2. Cool I will check with them tomorrow as I get a decent discount there thru work.
  3. So with the new updates to the MSNZ manual all fire extinguishers now require two quick release straps. If theres enough people interested ill sort a group buy and save us all some $$ , iirc they are $59 normally ( at Japrace ) The best price I can do on these is $29 Although im sure there are cheaper ones available , these are Flame Guard by Chubb , they are good quality and have a decent mounting bracket and straps. They are also the model that MSNZ reccomend. Even if your not into racing its cheap insurance against your car burning to the ground should something go wrong.
  4. Actually the likes of TPS040 is normally open so could trigger a relay on under boost.
  5. Just use an oil pressure switch like TPS007 http://www.tridon.com.au/Products/Product.aspx?SG=8&S=35&G=483&P=2011 Just use it to trigger a relay that turns on the rear window washer pump. If you want to get fancy you can parallel wire in a thermostat so it also operates above a certain temp. As the oil switch open curcuits under pressure you would need to use the NC contact on the relay , so the pump runs when the relay turns off.
  6. Has anyone mentioned a vacume leak ?
  7. Was out with him last night , no alarm and no insurance = Gutted.
  8. If im correct the coolant decided to try and exit the motor after the heads lifted off the block under boost. ( correct me if im wrong Josh )
  9. Has surge tank and external , TD05 with exhaust side ported. What power does yours make and what boost ?
  10. Running 15psi on an atomic boost tap , but was running same boost on the stock boost control with the VF24.
  11. Sorry for the epicly s*** pic but.. 210wkw @ 14.7psi on spec performance rolling road. V4 STi R Built 2.0l TD05 Stock ecu / yellows BP98 Boost couldnt go any higher as it was starting to lean out , on the graph you can see the power start to rise again as it starts to lean out so I guess a truer figure is just over 200kw but ill take the 210 I guess its now at the limit of the stock ECU and injectors but its a limit im pretty damn happy with. Oh and the squigly bit on the graph is the clutch slipping
  12. Iv had a few cars that have been near write offs and been repaired , and IMO they are never the same. Id much prefer a write off unless its minor damage.
  13. Uniweld mufflers , Grant is a GC.
  14. Our BH had an almost identical impact and was repaired .( also AMI )
  15. No idea on cost but either autolign or chamberlains
  16. We have the 2.0T and love it , test drove the 3 l and liked it but just liked the turbo more. Me and dacerx have tested our cars ( on private roads ofcourse ) and there is very minimal difference in performance.
  17. Just fuel sloshing in the tank , its a wide tank so naturally gonna happen. Surge tank and external pump FTW. How did u go on the dyno ?
  18. I have a genuine Sti silicone intake for a v5/6 Im selling if your keen. Lucky its not a beb , they suck , im also needing a new turbo.
  19. Took it thru the lyttelton tunnel , got filmed and told off by grumpy tunnel control guys. Funny thing was I didnt even go over the 30k speed limit.
  20. On my new setup im running a stock replacement 230mm exedy , previously ran a 225mm with minimal slip on 5000rpm launches. Id much rather have the clutch as a weak link than be replacing gearboxes ect.
