ok nice wee read there i fount that to hook up the factory solenoid i have about a week ago.
my pill is more of a filter looking thing rather then a slug that sits in the line .
i have conflicting information now have been told by others that in 2 port configuration i no longer need the boost pill ???
so i received my profec II today . had a look at the solenoid and it can either be a 2 or 3 port.
question is which way to go ? its set up for 2 port and i need to get a part to change it to 3.
is there any advantage to 3 or does it just come down to how i plumb it up?
id say it deff should .
i used to fit my bike in a laser hatch before i got my wagon .
legacy boots are a bit bigger i think.
you will want to take the wheels off to
scored a set of cheep platinum plugs and installed.
oxygen sensor bung tapped and plugged up with an old spark plug
new sensor drilled and installed in down pipe rather than headers.
re checked for fuel rail leakages (none whoop whoop)
done compression test while plugs were out ( 10 bar on all cylinders very nice)
new vac hoses through car
got pod filter to finally fit with the m&h intake pipe
and intercooler = FAIL!
productive day even tho i worked a 9 hour day
dont have feeler gauges at home but they've been in there since before i got the car lol.
ill be checking the new ones also as ive got new plugs before that had uneven gaps!!
well the car has a hesitation when at constant speed and sort of backfires when coming onto boost so im working through things as i get to them tomorrows job is new spark plugs and compression test.
im searching how to test the ox sensor now . got the multi out as i type
nice mate!! did it make any diff at all?
i picked up my new ox sensor and removed my old one
new
old ouch can you imagine how hard it was to get out!! whoever put it in before me crossed it up badly.
there sort of already is. just off bromley road and next to the park on maces road . he lets us go in there and remove our own parts and search though his piles of cars.
its not called pick a part tho
