  1. Noltec ones used to be all over TM, seller used to be (maybe still) on here.
  2. You can run them upsidedown on a v1-2 manifold I believe which would fit your heads at least.
  3. vacuum hose off the regulator when you set it too.
  4. Youll be pushing brown stuff uphill with a hot needle to get 250 at the wheels out of a std turbo unless you are planning on using e85 or better cams or a very friendly dyno. A bolt on gt3071 variant would make 250-260 pretty comfortably on pump gas with fuel + Ecu to match.
  5. Seat 90% sorted, actually separated the base frame from my v3 seats and added the back and lower cushion from the v7s. Now sits at the right angle and a good height, it is a little higher under my knees than Id like ideally but Ill get used to it pretty quick.
  6. Its only the drivers one and its not that far off, just enough to get on my nerves lol. If the rail swapping is a no go Im just gonna slot or space the mounts and I should be able to get it somewhere near.
  7. I had V4 seats in before and they never had this issue tho.
  8. Haha, Im getting used to it but Im not sure I should have to be
  9. Any one ever noticed that when you put V7 STI seats into a GC8 or Legacy of any sort that the drivers seat seems to sit to the right too much? Ive put V7 Spec C ones into my RSB and the rears and passenger are fine but no matter what I do the driver seat faces to the right or is shifted over too much, there is a pretty large gap between the seat and the trans tunnel too. Some say that you can swap the rails to GC ones or even swap the whole lower frame (mainly to lower them but might help this dilema) but having a quick look the other day Im not convinced that either is gonna be a straight swap. The mounts for the rails/seat back look different at a glance.
  10. http://www.carldavey.co.uk/diary.php?id=77 back in stock this month
  11. Not quitting, just enforced layoff
  12. That will be why mine needs some now.
  13. have found out on NASIOC that GD will fit GC but its about 3-4 inches too short for the BD legacy and the moulding is a bit too high so sticks out in funny places. Everyone whos done it recomended just dying the standard legacy carpet. Wondering now if any other model legacy has black carpet and whether that would fit, going by the "all legacies are longer than imprezzas" theory.
  14. Probably a long shot but does any one know if carpets are interchangable between models? eg: GD into GC or legacy. Reason would be to get rid of the horrible grey in the early models without having to dye or paint the standard one.
  15. Sounds perfect, Ill PM you my address too (with a map but its easy)
  16. take a pic at 222222.2, I have one from 111111.1
  17. Bought 20lt last night, first time buying gas for my car in 6 months!!! still cheaper than last time I had to. 1, 2....3 cents different makes so little difference over a whole tank it doesnt bother me. I want it to go back to $1.00 a lt like the in the 90s hahaha.
  18. Lazlo and I are happy with $40 each for the seats cheers dude.
  19. Can also get the 5x100 hubs machined out to take an Audi or Nissan bearing which apparently is very good too.
  20. If you stay 5x100 Rota wheels are your best bet but they are heavy ish, Work and Volk do some for a nice tidy price lol as do Advan I think. There is an outfit on TM doing undrilled wheels that look very much like work emotions in a matt gunmetal that might be worth a nudge too. They Drill and machine offset to your requirements Yeeees been there done that
  21. Anyone road tripping it in the near future (can understand if not right now as youll need tennis raquets not tyres)? Lazlo and I are trading some seats (just fronts) and wondering if anyone can fit them in. its my 2 seats up and his 2 seats back to Welly. Will be happy to contribute some gas money or beer. Will post in Auckland forum too if anyone is doing the opposite run.
  22. I did mine with spacers and I didnt find that many more rims to fit in 5x114, sure everything EVO will fit but you still pay through the nose for lightweight wheels (mine weigh a tonne). Most wide 5x114 wheels are staggered for RWD. The APR kit appears to be the best fit of the american widebody kits, some of them are really cack. Have a think about how you want to fit it too, if you are racing then solely urethaning it on might be best so you can repair and replace easily. Mine is all a custom one off and glassed on and smoothed so if/when I hit it its a lot of work to fix.
  23. I sent mine back to Microtech in OZ when mine did funny stuff but you can send it to Microtech in Chch too. They just took longer to reply to my queries than OZ did. If its just a dry joint someone skilled in electronics Im sure can sort it.
  24. Anyone coming from or passing through Taupo on the way to Wellington from mid next week on? Need 4 tyres picked up. Happy to donate some gas money as long as its not more than itll cost me to use a freight company of course Cheers Jonno
  25. 266mm will be rear, 27whatever front. they moved to 294 on the front of GTB/RSB.
