it doesnt start faster it takes the same time but the cranking is alot faster

sorry to bring up an older thread but thought this might help a whole pile of other people well i checkd the codes today just cause i thought id check and i had code 23 which to me just sounded like the AFm was dirty brought some AFM cleaner and now thats gone but the car also cranks heaps faster like it should also idles heaps smoother :) triple win haha

well i took out the headlight lowbeam bulb today it is a blue coated one would someone tell me what type they are so i know what im looking at as ive never seen such a bulb before lol

hi i have a 1998 subaru legacy gtb so with the projector low beam lights but there absolute crap cant see jack all even worse one of the previous owners has put eyelids on but im removing them soon but dont think much of a difference will come from it what have you guys done to improve them as i had installed HIDs in my last car but found out there no good to pass wofs with

hi all i have just brought a mint 1998 BG5 Legacy GTB but it came with this for a grill now its a one piece eyelids and grill. I'm not a fan off the eyelids as my headlight appear to be rubbish but if i remove them ill have no grill. i also do not like the factory one and its hard to open the bonnet stupid subaru design the current grill has a slot for you to reach your hand in to flick the level and the factory grill doesnt does anyone know a good place to get another one

as above anyone know how to remove blood from upholstery as my fater brought a vz sv6 commodore ex police and it has 3 redish spots on the seat in what i think is blood but dont know what to remove it with

thanks ive had to pull the back out it has about 3 square inches of cable running thru it and im removing it because the cops failed to do so lol i totally didnt expect to be stripping out an 05 commodore but i am haha the wiring is everywhere it even has the police equipment fuse box still in place there also it has had a smahed rear window which im still cleaning the mess from lol

hi there my dad and i have picked up a EX police VZ commodore god dam new zealand police need to take car of there cars better my question is the air con when we put it on level 4 it just turns off 0 1 2 3 all work but 4 just blows out nothing

1993 subaru legacy gt very first lot of the twin turbos not GTB search function works but no one has covered this after replacing black box

hi there a few of you may know ive been having a few boost issues and i have today replaced the black box of death to make now change taking 3 frustrating hours as i got one from a gtb and mines not and it had diferent plugs so i had to swap everything out and to get no change. what it does is boosts when it feels like it and when it does boost it may be over boosting almost 15 psi on primary seems a bit high also it will not boost up hills or under heavy load you could say. im going to try cleaning the airflow meter tomoro but if anyone could give me some ideas that would be great cause its currently for sale and its not a good sale point

has some on my 50 cc scooter lol kept on skidding sideways so there crap cant even think what they would be like on the car

hi is it just whistling when you give it a slight rev like spooling down? if that is the case its just the roller bearings in the turbo are noisy nothing to be majorly worried about ive been told they can last quite a few years like that

hi i have a 1993 subaru legacy gt twin turbo and i am having heaps of problems with it today i started it and a weird noise started coming from the front and the abs light stayed on while driving so when i got to somewhere safe to pull over i turned off the car and the abs unit was still making a whirring/ticking noise when the key was fully out so i have now unpluged the unit but can anyone explain what is actually happening and do i have to replace the unit or reset the ecu and try again

can someone explain where i should look for this have two bg5 legacys on the driveway they both look the same around /under the intercooler
