Have you had a read of this... http://clubsub.org.nz/forum/showthread.php?64-The-Single-Turbo-Conversion-Thread-2-0 I would save trying to get it to run until you have sorted the new ecu and afm and replumbed and rewired the bbod and boost control solenoid cos code 66 can be a ton of things but most likely a boost leak somewhere.
put a new radiator in the bg5. And yesterday chucked an old Headunit I had lying around in the mother inlaw's car cos we had to borrow it during the week and I was over listening to foster and Allen tapes in it.
Yeah mine works with freessm but had to manually set up the drivers which if anyone needs the one I used is here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vfvm3i6b4f0kbec/AACvOEU1AdHAYrwS92ZPBIiqa?dl=0
The yellow cable under your seat is probably from an old Nav system yeah? If so it probably won't switch over when you chuck it in reverse. Pull the Headunit and see if it has a camera input and the reverse switch wire. If it does it is super easy to wire in. Just tee in the power and switching directly to one of the reverse lamps and then run the rca and switch wire to the head unit.
Finally got the angle sorted for the reverse camera on the rev d. Also sorted the tail door garnish leak and cleaned up the light sockets which were pretty corroded. I also did the McIntosh subwoofer hack https://jeremy.geek.nz/2010/04/19/subaru-legacy-mcintosh-subwoofer-hack/ and repaired the front passenger speaker.
In the bh5 I got rid of the McIntosh head unit whilst retaining the amp and speakers. Sounds good so far. Also got rid of all traces of the old Nav system. Tomorrows mission is to get the reverse camera sorted.
Rosssub did an awesome how to... http://clubsub.org.nz/forum/showthread.php?45977-Changing-BE-BH-Fuel-Pump&p=578671#post578671
I put a deatschwerks dw300 in mine which i found was a bit too big but still works.
The easiest way is to take out the t's and run hose 10 directly to the air intake port where is a small plastic reducer. You might need to disconnect the BOV vent hose for easier access as the port is below it.
Welcome to Timaru dude! Yeah not a whole lot to do in Timaru if you're under 30 these days. It's definitely an ageing population. As for Subaru garages LJ's auto align is pretty good. Maybe rapid performance or Showgrounds auto. They would be my picks.
Started swapping springs out of some bilsteins and found that chucking a strut brace on to hold the top hats for the rears gives you awesome leverage to easily crack the nut with a breaker bar. Also bought a new one. Gotta go pick it up next week and will post some pics then!
