  1. Sweet as! Glad you got it sorted! I usually chuck the bottom of the shock in a vice and use the breaker to just crack the nut then undo just like you have with the ring spanner and Allen key.
  2. Have you tried cracking the nut with a breaker bar while still in the car fully loaded?
  3. Not a problem dude! Looking forward to seeing your build thread progression!
  4. http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&prev=search&rurl=translate.google.co.nz&sl=ru&u=http://subaru.epcdata.ru/ Does this help at all?
  5. Yeah I reckon secondary bov. My 94 did the same thing when I bought it. Any twin turbo bov should work. They have different coloured stickers but the only difference is the angle of the vac nipple.
  6. Did you fix the crack in your primary up pipe?
  7. Nice one dude! This is on my list of things to do as I just got rid of the main cat.
  8. When putting the bbod back in did you make sure that you reconnected the hose to the stored vac tank?
  9. Had the day off so installed sti seats and then drove to Dunedin to pick up new exhaust and then back to timaru.
  10. Just 2x at the moment. 94 legacy and a 01 vx commodore wagon.
  11. Access wise either take off the front bumper or take wheel off and pull back arch liner.
  12. Have you cleaned out the boost control solenoid in the passenger guard? Could the cat converter in the primary dp have crapped out?
  13. It would have run out of stored vac. Run the car for a bit to build it back up.
  14. This might also help... https://www.dropbox.com/s/4md3zdwj6grfy9u/code66%20flowchart.pdf?dl=0 This will help with any other codes... https://www.dropbox.com/s/napivyd1ei8b196/DiagnosisEGI.pdf?dl=0
  15. Code 66 sucks to sort. It cold be a whole heap of things. Try testing your secondary BOV to see if it holds vac. If not replace. Next is to try cleaning the vac lines and solenoids in the BBOD but not the maf sensor with some carb cleaner http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.php/topic/11043-code-66-and-boost-issueshow-to-clean-them-out/and also the boost control solenoid in the passengers front guard.
  16. What have you done so far to sort the codes? Have you changed the knock sensor?
  17. It's on the block halfway between the primary turbo and throttle body. You will need to take the intercooler off. You will need a long socket extension and will need to undo the bolts that hold the heater hoses to get a better view as the under manifold intake kinda obscures it.
  18. Went to fit zerosports rear strut brace that I recently acquired and it didn't fit. I dunno what it will fit? Might try some mates cars to see if it fits theirs.
  19. Here is an English version of the manual that one of the guys from uklegacy helped me with... https://www.dropbox.com/s/0uzrco2j7wl55dr/Zerosports%20Controller.pdf?dl=0
  20. This is how print mighty produce their gear. I have used them a couple of times and they are pretty awesome! [video=youtube_share;1Yf1uLHnbUE]
  21. Might pay to check the length of the struts cos I think outback struts are longer than legacy.
  22. What did you sign up for? To find out how to fix stuff on the wagon so I might save some cash and do stuff myself. Where did you hear about clubsub? I googled Subaru forums and found Clubsub, UK Legacy, SLi & LegacyGT.com. Clubsub and UK Legacy have the most relevant info for me. What would you like to see more of? More pic heavy garage threads and maybe a "How To" category perhaps. If you often visit but never post is there a reason or do you feel you get what you need without asking? I often visit but rarely post as I am still trying to absorb as much info as I can. I will post comments on topics/questions that I have experienced with my car during my time with Clubsub. Is there anything that you don't like? No not really. What would persuade you to become a paid member? I just became a paid member as I have learned a lot from everyone on the forum and thought best to give back to help the club so that it and its members (paid &non-paid) can continue to chat, learn or get what ever they need from the forum. Are the forums/stickys easy enough to follow? The stickys after the forum update need some work, i.e. broken links fixed. I think the search could be a bit better as well.
  23. SG Yeah? V7 struts should fit straight in, no need to change the top hats either. BG Legacy struts will fit too.
  24. Looks good dude! What app are you using to play music with? And how does it sound? I was thinking of building a raspberry pi for mine but that idea was short lived.
