Blown intercooler hose off ? Or the bov hose off .
Look for anything obvious . Do a compression test . Pressure test the intake system . Pull plug leads off one at a time and see if the miss is one cylinder or all of them
I saw u wrote post turbo and assumed u wrote the wrong word . U wont be able to read the pressure post turbo on a boost gauge . Need a manometer or somethin .
Have u really never seen exhaust pressure lower than booat in our realm ?im not arguing I just figured it was achievable . I might check mine . Vf22 . 197kw on 11 psi boost .
let this be a lesson in " if it aint broke , dont fix it"
there was nothing wrong with the idle before so why did you decide the throttle should be shut
so you fiddled with the throttle but then you asked this "With disconnecting the battery, do I simply disconnect positive and negative or just positive... "
what ever you do dont play with a solar panel . those things are a bomb waiting to go off unless u get the right diode to go with them
how is the engine going to get any air to start if the throttle is fully closed ?
they dont have a separate idle controller .
u took something away from the ecu . moved it . put it back and expect the ecu to overcome what you did . now it doesnt know where the throttle plate it . the ecu only knows where it used to be and still thinks it is there
do u magically think someone on the internet can tell u what hoses are in the wrong place from the (lack of ) info u have provided ?
so it boosts on primary . that eliminates about 2 hoses . now go figure out which out of the other 23 are wrong
Does the oil pressure light go out ?
A bb turbo only wants abour a litre a minute when its running so at crank rpm id say none would come out it .
If it comes out when idling then id be happy enough
It takes about 20 seconds for an oil light to go out on the starter motor . Then u have a lik 1mm hole feeding into 200mm of 3 mm steel hose so itd prolly take half an hour for oik to come out it on the starter . Unless the engine had just been running
Version 3 and 4 share everything else so dont see why not the cluster . U can swap in the carbon piece pretty easy . One of the first things I did to mine . Also swap to a tacho that conviently doesnt have an airbag light symbol ...
The bit between the air filter and the afm only needs to be the length of one hose clamp is wide long . And chop all the corrugations out of the black hose n join it back together . My filter is 3 times longer than that and fits
u get that much in 2000 k ? is it ****ed ?
u need some more baffles ( or steel wool) in the line from the crank case so the oil stays there . failing that just run a drain from the catch can back to the sump . metal kidney plate would prolly help too
the oil is supposed to get hot enough to burn off the water and other impurities .
