same set up as turbo celica?whats the crime,too much effort?

got early xmas pressy,new momo steering wheel and gear nob.was ez to install and very bling bling,would post a pic but went for cruise and its to dark now

i\'ve done this,will need larger rotors.can\'t remmember exact size sorry.Stops alot better,noticed spare tyre wont fit on but just replace rear tyre to front and spare to back.oh and i didnt have to touch backing plate or anything.also may want to take car to another mech for wofs otherwise will need a cert even tho some models the same came out with 4-pot factory.

A good hunt threw car wreckers like pick a part can be surprising.managed to get chrome engine bits and 4 pots from 22b that was put on track car that rolled,had a few more parts i wanted but everything dissaperd as soon as I had cash.BnT seem to be more useful than S.C and repco sometimes although mabe abit more $$$

bought stoffas boot yeasterday,installed and put rear stop light in back window.Kinda like the non spoiler look

1st place around 10k but will lower if I do some prep myself,2nd was prep and plain gloss colour,last was prep metallic paint and body kit install

i'd say go around all panel beaters and get quotes,prices very alot and quotes are free.some prices may reflect quality of work so the cheapest isn't always best. One place quoted me 10k to paint my car etc while two others quoted me 3.5k,one being standerd colour and other being cash job

brakes bleed and finally on the road with 4/1 pots,so much better

If responce was to my post it was found around Taitor.cops went to the bakery and guy must have seen them and walked away from it,was legy station wagon with a stuffed sludge box so kinda did owner a favour

about 10 subies were stolen around paremata june july.5 in Seaview road 1 car was found with differant plates at a bakery with dudes work boots etc in the back seat yet no one found.

Yeah GF went to vins or what ever they are called and asked if we need a cert and they said we do although the only guy in welle that can do it is currently on Holliday :-\

slightly confused on upgrading brakes.i have v2 wrx and just bought 4 pot calipers from wreckers as one of my calipers is open,my question spawns from GF comming back from mechanic who said (1) I need to get 4 pots and larger roters on rears as well (2)will need to get them certified.soooo do I need to do this or get another opinion as mechanic wasn't to sure ??? main reason i'm confused is all my searches show alot of subies with 4 pot front and 2 rear although i did see a b4 with 4 front 4 rear the other day.[getting tempory 2 pot replacement on front for time being]

saw a place up in elsdon that advertised rim repair and powder coating,didn't have time to pull in and check them out tho.

found a guy that did a CV joint and boot as a perky

yesturday took it to get cambelt/service,new power steering pump(second hand in better con) new spark plugs etc.Today i had water squeters and bonnet pins installed on my carbon hood,been a expensive week and found me some 4 pot callipers to buy next pay.I also managed to get some chrome pully sheild and radiator(top thingy) and chrome clips for 50 bucks - Scrap metal places are fun to go shopping at ;D

added lights last week v3 grill and carbon hood-no issues except will need to get holes drilled for window squerters and rubber seals to be put on hood for above lights.will also be looking at bonnet pins just incase(paranoid). had this on last weekend but was faulty mold and suplier wasnt going to ship any more in

Hi I am sure my car is a v2wrx and I'm just wondering if I can put on a v3 onwards hood on my car as I want to get carbon one from Tm.friend has a facelift wagon and I only see slight difference in grill region,I was thinking of changing grill anyway.sorry tried searching but probably wrong keywords etc
