  1. Can take photos of boot and chassis but hoods in storage atm
  2. scale 1-10, 10 being with hood open Removed 8 Oem fitted 6 am 3 but that\'s at a guess, but I did also spray the entire chassis and wheel wells with septone branded sound deadner plus dynamat threw out cabin and firewall, so yeah, it makes a difference but it was expensive and would/should have invested in other ways,
  3. I just removed it, no problems with temps, a few years later eventually replaced with dynamat branded stuff who make an alternative along with a few other brands, cost like $150 but was only to keep noise down mainly but did keep hood cool,
  4. O2 sensor? My bg5 did similar things till I replaced it,
  5. Mine have all been BD/BG various aus/jdm, so must move later in the BE/BH
  6. [quote name='lachlan said: what model is that with the differential pressure sensor over there ? all ive ever seen is when its next to brake booster /quote] On all the legacys ive owned its were les666 says
  7. Cheaked if power is getting to starter? id say it may be knacked
  8. So I repin the ecu face to be wasted spark, i plan on using the loom from a v4sti as its all ready to be fitted and 2 of the cop need replacing anyway, so after wiring in an ignitor in reference to the wasted spark setup, is there much left to do.? o2 sensor pre turbo is moved to post turbo. ? any grounds for the ecu need (I think I read a while back there needs to be a change possibly)? are all the Ej20R sensors compatible with a 6s ecu?
  9. Got a 1996 jdm gtb Ej20R, running a 4G ecu going to convert to single turbo this weekend, but can find the pinout for this ecu, the one on the single turbo conversion says 1997-98, but am assuming it covers my car, so is it just a matter of soldering the 5 wires, fitting an ignitor, and using a v3/4sti under manifold loom, as far as electrical goes?. Cheers
  10. Hi all, are 3 wire sensors compatible with one another in respect to the fact I got a cel 32 and have a sensor from a 1994 bd5, and one from a 1993 bf5, When rewired are either compatible with a 1996 bg5? then hopefully my problems fixed, cheers
  11. It was only for a temporary fix at the moment as going single turbo soon so I might try the cable tie idea +mabey a lil glue or something, cheers
  12. Found that both coils on passengers side have had the little plastic piece snap off that the wire clips over and doesn\'t want to stay on example: https://touch.trademe.co.nz/listing/view/710262625 Can I use these coils as I have several sets at the moment, just splicing the two wires and not run into issues? https://touch.trademe.co.nz/listing/view/708272294 cheers
  13. cluch fluid, no, but I would/did flywheel, yes, I did this by piacing a 12mm ring spanner with a bolt threw each end 1 from the pressure plate (placed back in the flywheel) and the gearbox bolt from the starter (placed back in the block) thus holding it still
  14. http://www.exedy.com.au/technical-notes tech note O,This should give you an idea,
  15. Pull engine out first is the easyist way I found, theres vids on youtube that I watched and gave me enough information to do this, will need 10,12,14,17mm hex sockets and spanners, 10mm allen key to get plug out to remove clutch fork, hoist, flathead and Phillips screwdrivers and maybe a few other tools will possibly be needed that I cant really think of atm
  16. Are you running a capacitor in this system bro. ?
  17. I have owned a couple of sound magnus amps and I feel that there not as good quality as some of the rewiews I have read online and never lasted more than a year, im now running a 12" T6 sub and a 1400w soundstream d tower amp. And that combo works perfectly fine
  18. Panel and paint then it will look alright, bit of a beast
  19. My 1996 gtb is running yellows and is green sticker if I remember correctly I pulled purple rails and grays out of my old 1995 tsr legacy
  20. As above, when I had mine die on me it was a progressive thing over a day and didnt suddenly stop, I would check the power before sorting out a new pump especially if it isn\'t that old
