i just rebushed my whole car in whiteline, with motorsport spec ones where possible, every bush i was supplied was black.. side note redranger owns most bushing companys now (nolathane, whiteline, noltec) so the actual part is much of a muchness

Fitted gtb diff today, problem sorted. Still using my original axles.

I have a bg5b diff that has a vlsd and same axles as my ra... Would this work? What style diff is in a v5sti? Still vlsd

i put some of my car back together on the weekend and had an issue with the right rear axle, it doesnt seem to lock into the diff. the axles are my original V1 Ra vlsd ones but the diff is from a v5... are the axles different between v1 and v5 and thats what my problem is? there is no snap ring on the axle stub but i heard this is inside the diff... i dont know and im trying to avoid pulling the diff out again =)

sounds to me like oil pump has shat itself, either that or the o-ring. rare thing for al's work to have a problem

im going for gtx3071r as im keen for more pull out of the corners rather than top end power, its what tony suggested initailly as usual he knows best =)

hi all rewiring my racecar at the moment, its running a link g3 and ive come to fuel pump wiring... currently has a walbro intank and wanting to add a bosch 044 external and surge tank. does anyone know the current draw of either of these pumps? googles not coming up with much. and also would you wire them separatley or run one wire from relay and splice in the liftpump feed? yep is standard bore 2.0

i would be asking your engine builder if it had hydraulic lifters or shim under, and also if it was open deck or not. looks like an early wrx engine to me, maybe ra, which could mean it has a closed deck block. but yea your engine builder should know those answers from assembeling it

Hi all about to buy a turbo for my racecar, i can get gtx3071r and gtx3076r for the same price, what would be best for my car in terms of drivability etc? car has je pistons, eagle rods, closed deck block, v4sti heads, link g3 (g4 firmware)so can take a fair amount of abuse. not looking for outright power, would rather have pull out of corners than a laggy monster that only makes full boost at the end of the straights. cheers Richard

it is my old car, just for clarity its a bg5 with the divorced iacv not the on the throttle body style like a bh5
