Hi all,
Just wondering if any one can help me here, after a launch in my wrx about 5 min down the road i noticed a slight wining noise that increased/decreased with engine revs, when i got home car was in neutral and still whined and also increased when free revved.
anyone know what could cause this? and started up the next morning and didnt make said noise..
Cheers
Can some one please relieve me of this problem? i havent heard of these terms before, how do i tell if i have phase 1 or 2 heads? is there certain patterns too look out for?
Cheers
There should be a bung in the intake piping to the compressor side of the turbo blocking it off, the BOV should be attched to a pipe either on the intercooler or on the \'y pipe\' going from the turbo to the intercooler. also a vacuum line from the top on the bov, usually a small nipple with a hose clam, and that line should go to the top on the intake manifold, from memory the most left nipple, if standing above.
hope this isnt too confusing and helps
Hi there,
Wondering if anyopne can help me out here, having alot of pressure contained in the cooling system could mean a blown head gasket? also after taking car for a quick 2 min run after letting it warm up to normal operating temp the bottom ratiator hose was still cold as, with the radiator and top hose being warm, what could cause this?
cheers
