  3. Haha, this guy lives next to a mate of mine. Pretty sure he owns/use to own this too. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/toyota/dx/auction-445113876.htm Check out that exhaust lol. He use to attempt to do skids on the driveway at least once a day with those cars haha.
  4. Um whaaa? What has the stud pattern got to do with the price of fish?
  5. So not much different to Lamborghini then? Yea this is true. Still making them today too. [quote name='newsuba said: b]Austin[/b] Martin, eh ? That explains why the David Brown tractor my neighbour had drove like a bag of British Leyland crap. Nicer to drive than an Allegro or Marina though. ;D Oh snap. :-X
  6. Useless fact of the day. Tickford, Austin Martin and Lagonda were all owned by a farmer/ tractor builder at one stage. I can see why he fancied Ford, basically the same weight as a tractor anyway Oh and his name was David Brown. Which is what DB stands for with Austin Martin. Car Crime? haha
  7. Looking good Sequence. Will look a lot better with the P1's for sure
  8. Went to start it yesterday for the first time in over a month. Battery was completely dead - Put it on charge. Put battery back in and started it, barely turned it over but luckily it went straight away. New battery time *sigh* Also washed it so it's clean for the drive to Auck next weekend, first drive (other then out of the shed) in 2 or so months.
  9. Dammit, can't even drive my tractor without being labeled a boyracer. Ah well if you can't beat them, join them. I'm off to do the laps. Rollin' on 40"s yo! bahaha awesome. Installed a Sparco bucket seat. Don't wanna be falling off my seat while I'm drifting for all the bitches. 8)

  11. Looks like the antics of a certain EZ30R driver in his old GTB? As for me, around town... STi - Around 2800, gears are too close together. Ute - 1800 or so haha
  12. Cut the power to the ecu, then deploy a taser aimed at the crutch. Or multiple taser's?. Would have to cut power to the ECU though, otherwise the thief might nail the go pedal as they get tased. Hopefully by the time you find the car via GPS they'll still be passed out at the drivers seat.
  13. 5VZ actually Much, much easier swap. Block is basically the same shape so mounts, bellhousing blah blah bolt up. Yea but there are engine mount and bellhousing adapters available for the 1uz so they 'bolt up' aswell Come on, you know you want to...
  14. Club sponsor PRO Wholesale do pretty good prices on Walbro pumps FYI. http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=298
  15. Well if power is getting to the pump and it's not going still then yup I'd say the pump is toasted.
  16. On avg I get around 500kms to a tank before I fill up (before fuel light). Worked it out ages ago and was about 9.5L per 100kms (11.5km/L?) on half town half open driving. And 8L per 100Kms (12.5km/L?) on open road. Would probably use less if it wasn't sitting at 3350 rpm at 100kmh with the RA gearbox. Ver8 STi engine, FMIC, Link G4. In a GC8 shell.
  17. Oil Pressure gauge should have just had a sensor/sender on the block and wires to the cabin though. Well that's on the ones I've had experience with at least.
  18. LOL funniest part is it threw an AFM code this week. New one is on it's way.
  19. Not a great picture but you get the idea. Is a few months old, has since had a bit more tidying up of wiring and hoses. But basically that's it. And my Ute
  20. Is that a bigger inlet pipe under the intake manifold? Just wondering why you changed to a remote reservoir power steering pump.
