My brother in law owns a screen printing business so i could possibly get a good price on hoodies, hats etc.. Has an in house graphic designer too if needed. He does a lot of promo gear for some big businesses and events ie. Vodafone, Lion Breweries, Big Day Out ( when they were still around ), Rhythm and Vines etc It's an option anyway if you guys get stuck or cant find anyone to do the work. Im happy to have a word to him next time I'm around my sisters place.

Hi guys Looking at these for my V7 RA and just wondering if it would be a good upgrade over the stock items? Info on the net tells me they were originally fitted to the S202. I'm sure they were a factory item on the V7 Spec C's as well?? Or would i be best looking at maybe another brand like Cusco? Cheers

I was looking at those and they did look good but the only results i was able to find were in the USA and on the NASIOC forums. Also the cost is up there with the "known" brands once converted from US dollars to NZD + shipping +1 on seeing results on a nz dyno too.

Not sure, thinking of selling it for what i bought it for and putting the money towards another turbo. Have been in touch with Murch about getting something built. Hi guys Just a FYI if you are interested. Have had a little bit of time to kill at work and have been looking into the Scarles turbo i have sitting in the garage at home trying to find as much info as possible about it. Theres not really much out there but think i have found something. After a bit of digging on the web I was able to find something that resembles pretty much what i have. The part number matches exactly. The only difference was that the one i have has Scarles branded on it. Also the specs seem to match, below and what was advertised on the Scarles website From what I've read, some people have had mixed results with these units, mainly bad though. For example only lasting 2500 miles before crapping itself but another saying they've had it for a year with no issues. These reviews were from around 2010 onwards so I'm not sure if the quality of the turbo has improved since. One guy from Taiwan who posted on Nasioc has had an ok result with one His reason for getting one was that they were locally made and he could get them for really cheap so wanted to test and see how good they were. Here's another result he got on a Virtual Dyno He also mentioned that the same turbo was sold under 3 brands - KAMAK, ZAGE and CHSH and all 3 are Taiwan based companies. Interesting what Google can come up with when you have a bit of a dig around.....i was able to download a product catalogue too

Where can i get a 1/2" T piece and 1/2" hose ( this is to replace the hard line that goes across the intercooler ) Cheers

I had one on my V7 when i bought it. Was one of the first things i got rid of. Like Boon said you'll make a bit less power but have nice suction noise. I personally felt my car went better when i went back to factory airbox with high flow panel filter. But yeah, in the end its up to you.

New shift knob arrived today

Mine is through ANZ bank who uses Vero. 33yo, have never claimed. Full cover - $37 a fortnight, $500 excess for my V7 RA with agreed value and full list of mods. Have my mortgage, house and contents insurance through them as well so get a discount.

Hi guys I've never had to purchase any genuine gaskets before but I can get the turbo to downpipe, both upipe and manifold gaskets for around $120. Is that a good price? Cheers

I got hold of him over the weekend and he pretty much said that he will not be doing anymore remapping for a while and just wanted to concentrate and spend time with family. Didn't give a time frame of when he would be back into it.

Hi guys With Raijin no longer doing any remapping, i was wondering if you guys recommended anyone else in the Auckland area to do dyno tuning. I know Torque performance do it for $1295. Or is it worth doing a trip out of Auckland to a place like Dynotech Industries in the Naki? I don't mind travelling for it. Any suggestions? And roughly what type of price am i looking at? Im looking at doing this in the next month or so after i add some bolt ons to the car. Cheers
