  1. haha , when i removed the stocking off the lights, Well what was left of em.. ,it was a pretty top notch install job i must say! had to pull lights out and undo cover etc . cant give blazd to much Sh*t as he does own a pretty nice wrx nw and its 100% stocking free buy the looks!

  4. Well picked up a 95 GF8 wrx from wellington in the weekend,(Cheers Jared for use of your car trailer) . so Over the past few days have been putting it back together. So far have put all lights back on bumper support/bumper, Put the interior bits back together , back seats all trims,door cards etc etc, Being a student i just do stuff as i can afford to But will get there! A quick list of the things im Still looking for: -Motor/box -Sti front seats - Both rear doors (in silver) - Bonnet (in silver) will take pictures as i put things back together, Heres the first lot iv taken http://i927.photobucket.com/albums/ad112/connor232/rex2.jpg?t=1297212013

  6. Thanks for replys found a sticker on the Disc, With part number and a company name (auto clutches ltd) they looked it up in there system and its for a toyota 2.8 diesel, Hilux , Hiace I dont have neither so its up for grabs, http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,19069.new.html#new

  8. if your talking about the 1s that have thread at the end so you can adjust? Not sure if you can get 1 specific for Subaru, but a universal 1 you could make fit..
  9. well apparently it has a noisy front diff? , and said its probably needs some new bearings? its out of car alredy Also what are the bearings to buy? expensive?? out of a 1996 WRX. 4.111
  10. Well grabbing a gearbox off a member on here on Sunday witch has a noisy front diff bearing? i don't no much about gearboxes, But are replacing these bearings a pain? and are the parts expensive? Got a family member who builds stock cars and stuff so hell give me a hand putting in hopefully ,

  12. yeah second thoughts will most likely do that, How big is that center Nut at end of the Axle the 1 thru center of the hub?, as il have to buy a socket as my set only goes to high 20s, and it looks like a 30 or higher, and once i got the axle out how does the outer cv come out? is there a clip?
  13. oh, Have ya tryed yanking it out with a pair of vicies but i know the felling its Bs when sh*t like that happens when the jobs so straight forward!
  14. Grind flush,drill out, then re-tap the bolt hole? mite have to go bigger bolt tho.. if threads to munched..
  15. my cv boot is split, the outer boot on drivers side Hub, Got a big drive on Sunday so i wana get it sorted, Ill grab a boot kit tomorrow, Whats the best way to attack it? i want to leave the Axel in the car, whats the trick to get the cv head off the Axel? presume theres some sort of clip? A quick rundown on this would be awesome. its a 1992 vz legacy 2l N/A Cheers
  16. Just a couple of ideas here.. -Proof of recipts of any engine work been done -how often oil gets changed- Possibly what oil to.. -Take for a good test drive, make sure all gears shift nicely, no shudders etc , you also could take up a hill to if you were worried about any cooling issues..
  17. Hey, well it doesnt relly matter what way you instal the speaker itself normaly, as long as you install the cover/grill the right way so the logos are at top/bottom , but for the speaker itself as a rule just keep the wire terminals at the bottom and you shouldn't have any issues
  18. Hey brought this Brand new clutch and pressure plate got really really cheap off the net, Could anyone identifie this as a subaru clutch? lady i got off had no clue what is was off or that it even went in a car..

  20. When i was doing my seats i cheecked that, And i had no luck, But mine was a 89 gt and they dont got much to start with
  21. because if the car didn't come out with factory electric seats there wont be any wiring for them..
  22. Hey mate, when i put the leather gt seats in another legacy, What i did to get the electric drivers seat going i just ran a power supply to it under floor, and grounded the negative out, Think i taped into the headunit switched power supply
