  1. Well, here's a shot of the outside and the interior. Very tidy to be honest. Boot and rear bumper need replacing as someone ruined that but for 3.8k I won't complain.

Also on tein springs and bilstein shocks and three inch exhaust which is surprisingly nice and not too loud.

I don't have any plans for it. It is getting a tune from@pappu next week for economy and for it to be healthy, however, it's my daily to replace my aging and shitty Nissan pulsar. 8f340f49bc74b243ac807715a14947c1.jpgd0f30ed23b0c8151fed9078cfd9ba410.jpg31dcc5c739a19ff18fbdaba3f51ebfaf.jpge4332c5d9ea8ee11d6877b0168fa4855.jpg9e977f423e6c7b382391a9ea6851d1ec.jpgfeea37617175db1b1ad0fcb6ad8a0691.jpg

  2. This is the exact reason why I've left my factory heat shielding on my twinscroll STi headers. It does more than well enough and if it has to come off to fix the flexi's in the headers I will try take em off in a way that I can weld them back on.

Another thing to mention is also ceramic coating. Heard good things about it. @Username says he's used it on his stuff (turbo, manifold and up-pipe) and swore by it last time I saw him.

  3. Went to go put the motor in the hole. Mantic clutch Box says 6 speed clutch. Awesome.

Open the box, looks great! Awesome!

Put to the flywheel. Bit smaller than I expected. Less awesome.

Counted the bolts and compared to the old 6 speed clutch I have....

    it's a 5 speed....

    Not f*cking awesome.

  4. Weather has been great. So, as such, I can do some parts cleaning and in general tidying.

The flywheel was the primary thing stopping me from getting the motor in the hole. Rusty as hell. So, down to bunnings wire wheel bought. Cleaned the thing and am happy with how it turned out. :D

Also turns out that -8 pfte braided fuel lines are waaaaay easier to do than -6. Got what I can do without needing the motor in the car to get the right measurements.

And for my last party trick. I got my hands on a brand new in package v10 sti twinscroll sump. Delicious. Something about getting new parts innit. 9566ee323551c0a8ecaf9461ff8886da.jpgb5d2a86d6b74a464efcc395cb1118bbb.jpg9abb8daa4fde93320a1819454cacf479.jpgf1adc74a101e6e783a78a1be1b339388.jpg74bcc84012dfeafae7a03926c9e8f25e.jpg70a673f0fd23326511441025b2edb213.jpg

  5. You're right. They don't fit. Phase two injectors require an adapter of sorts to fit into phase 1 rails. I don't know what that adapter is or where you could acquire it.

Truth be told, you're better off looking for a phase 1 bolt adapter to phase two and trying to get an entire factory fuel rail setup from a V8+ STi.

I've uploaded the dyno chart, only difference between this tune and old tune is head work and a better way of tuning the car for the flexi fuel setup I run. More porting done by Danspeed, to the extent the exhaust side chambers of the heads are like mirrors and that's no exaggeration. I changed cams to have less duration but 1mm more lift on exhaust and intake. Duration changed from 277 reground cams to 268 billet cams. Heads use  standard size ferrera iconel valves on exhaust and standard ferrera vales intake with their keepers (far bigger than stock), beehive valves, titanium retainers etc,  brass valve guides and shimless buckets. Marsh motorsport 5 angle grind on valve seats.

So if you want to know the difference heads make to an already powerful'ish car this shows it. Obviously my old heads had some work done to them and weren't stock but not to the extent these have been built now.  Biggest gains are in torque though, I would need to go bigger turbo if I want more hp but waiting on the g series garrett to come out at the size I want, but I will be reducing boost on that and not really going for more power, unless of course someone comes and beats this then maybe I will. ;)

    @gotasuby ahem. Shots fired I think :P

He just took your top spot. Gonna take that or what

How’s that work? Like a lolly scramble for car parts? Might get the one's you want but might not...

haha they'll be GDB AVCS cams, that are 264's or larger. I can't say definitely until I've got them in hand because they're free. and I'm sure as hell not gonna complain about anything that I get for free.
