Hey guys whats your thoughts on these Aftermarket fuel filters Any good or not?

As above 9605 numbers on subaru headgasket What is this from?sti-wrx?

Subaru in greenlane/auckland sell them Not sure how much,people just tend to make them, There are hory ways too do it but wouldnt advise doing it Such as using a 3 way plastic tee piece and hooking up the turbo side and other on the actuater and leave the other one bleeding off,trick is to use a lighter and burn the size of the hole that is bleeding air smaller to your desired boost,it does work and holds boost fine from what iv seen,i guess its a 2$ boost tap they both do the same thing haha But as i said wouldnt advise it and is abit hory haha. 😂

^ +1 , There was a wrx and forester around a few years ago that was sr20det I remember reading it was still running a subi rear diff ,would be interesting to see how that would hold up Have to remeber a rb would weigh alot more than a ej20,could have possible understeering issues when cornering?

Have you looked into the sloted discs on t.m? No info on how those would crack tho,iv seem discs red hot and no cracking Almost as if the breaks were that hot and got cold water on them id say somthing like that could be possible?interesting to see the outcome

Are you meaning when you turn the key to start it takes awhile for it to actually start to turn over My old gc8 had that issue ended up replacing the fuel pump and a earthing kit on it and never had another issue

Its a gc8 with a possible wrx long block but running all sti gear Were trying to figure out if its a sti block or not Were just going off what previous owner said And you know how that can be 😩

Any body have any links to tell the difference between a wrx short block vs sti short block

Its has reciptes for 2 new rear shocks in 09 but i mean they shouldnt be rooted thats bugger all time, How do i go buy checking the sway bar links? What makes me think its not the shock is u can drive slow,say at like 5kpm and a slight turn on a even surface and you can here it,and i mean the cars hardly moving

Okay so my mate bought a v5 type r everything is mint Last night we drove to my mates place and noticed it has a slight klunk coming from the rear of the car on the passenger side We thought it could be the shock but it only happens when turning at a slow pace It has dccd and we always have it set all the way down aswell, Any ideas? Nothing is loose or looks out of place any suggestions? Mayb rear diff starting to play up? Cheers guys!

Injectors mayb? Fuel pump-good idea What condition is you gearbox and clutch in? And of course nothing can beat a g4 link ecu+ tune

Im probly going to hitup nzefi for a rechip on my v3,only expensive cost will be getting the car there,lucky my mate has a tow truck! Lol

^ it was only for the data board to get changed it still needed to be maped in nz ithought of that before i asked them,diffrent fuels ect

Really?😳 Shiit i never knew that,do you think some one that could reflash a v7 ecu could reflash one of those?same sorta software ect?

Im sure theres a guy from the u.k that does them I looked into it before,but its such a hassle having to send it there and have the car off the road,but havnt found any one in nz that can do v3
