Is it easyer to fix with a brand new cv or repalce the axle with a 2nd hand one in good condition?
It has started to click only on the front right side

Iv looked through all those charts and its got me really confused
Like i said at the start,the owner told me it was v6,but it was built in decmber of 98 so it could possibily be,he bought it off the importer who also said it was v6
Any help is appreciated

And yea marky i couldnt agree more,this is his daily car and i dont think he wants to track it anytime soon,the car is quick now but would like to get the max benifits if we can maintain the stock ecu,yes i know a link will be better but were doing this on cost

And i dont see how it can be the same price?a g4 alone will cost more than a reflash then its like another 1200 for a tune?

And yea obviously link is always guna be the best option,not compairing or nething but a mate of my had a reflash done last year on his v7 and said it was the best thing hes done
Im just going on cost,any link+tune is going to cost alot
Compaired to a simple reflash,it has all the mods it needs for a street used car do ithink a link is abit over board for what he uses the car for
Okay cool il get a picture today of the tags,he seemd to think it was one of the 1st v6\'s,built in december 98 so it could possibly be?
As for the ecu remap its a cheap option,not many people can afford a g4+ tune so for the price of a reflash isnt too bad

My mate just picked up this 98 type-r
Can the ecu be reflashed?im not 100% sure
Its got all the basic mods and looking to install a vf30 and a reflash if possible

Worth checking all your vacume lines that run off the ebc
Had the same issue on my mates car,turned out to be a kink in the vac line causing it to read vac still,my guess was the air was caught in there,replaced the hose and its fine now
95% sure this was on t.m 2months ago,
And if i remember right it was running a rs block with unknown kms
Prty sure this is the same car
As for 29psi-your gearbox and diff would have shat itself,and a rod out the block
Allgd man,yea i found the relay that stops the fan running,stil abit weird thoe.
Marc what you mean by ac circuit?aircon stopd running the day the fans started running,iv removed the relay for now to stop it running but still need aircon on this cold mornings!lol
