lol that was me!! ;Dbut my OLD my twinturbo legacy used to run on 91 all the time its was 98 bg5 with a r block and that car never never had a link in it. i did BIG km's on 91 and in the end did sell the block to a subaru shop in chch ..they told me the piston and block was mint!!!

yes there are 8-9kw more .. lots of r blocks run on grey injectors ... look a the chassis tag it will say ej20r or ej20h ..but saying that any motor could be in there .. best u look at ecu as the true r block ecu with just run that and and not a h block.. find out that the hard way ;D

not all ej20r blocks run yellows my old one run green YES green..and they run grey but best you get the ecu code that will tell u...and yes r blocks run ornage afm i was told the r block never come out with yellows and they put in??

If your have vf33 as well the black pipe undor the manafold is bigger then the 1998-2001 gtb as the vf33 inlet it way bigger then on vf13 upto vf31

vf31 is a primary as well have you tryed a vf 25-26 and vf20 man as i have and the vf25 IS SLOWER AND GET BOG DOWN SOME TIMES

vf 25 and 26 are slow as we play around with my gtb and find the the vf20 was that bit faster and better..but i wont go back to a vf13 no.. iam not saying vf25-26 are no good but it did seem to bog down a it

REally the VF25 is a slow spooler? does it pack a better punch than the VF13 though? Are VF18 and VF20 still straight bolt ons? yes i find it was a LOT SLOWER to spooler up then put a vf20 in and for the short time was much faster and better .. yes vf18,20 are straight bolt ons.

nar that not true my 2000gtb is Manual and WAS running vf25

dont go with a vf 25 to slow to spin up if it was me put a vf18 or vf20 on..

iam 110% sure motor way run in now 1yr old and done 47,000kms lol yes did 1st change at 600km's then 3500kms and last 6500 (with that oil)

you say 5000km's to run in ??? g i was told engine builder no less then 10,000kms to run in :-\ and did 3 oil changes in that time with this funny oil.. sorry cant rember oil name (old age)

i pulled a lot of gt and gtb part now and it the 1st time i seen rust in then thats all, was shocked to see it.

I been pulling a rsb apart yesterday and on the drives door i took the door card off and it was starting to rust.(photo will come) Tonite i had a guy ring me he need a new door yep i have one he turns up we get talking and he show me the door up around the mirror its rusted out so bad i can just about put my hand in the hole..
