i did BIG km's on 91 and in the end did sell the block to a subaru shop in chch ..they told me the piston and block was mint!!!
yes there are 8-9kw more .. lots of r blocks run on grey injectors ... look a the chassis tag it will say ej20r or ej20h ..but saying that any motor could be in there .. best u look at ecu as the true r block ecu with just run that and and not a h block.. find out that the hard way ;D
not all ej20r blocks run yellows my old one run green YES green..and they run grey
but best you get the ecu code that will tell u...and yes r blocks run ornage afm

vf 25 and 26 are slow as we play around with my gtb and find the the vf20 was that bit faster and better..but i wont go back to a vf13 no..
iam not saying vf25-26 are no good but it did seem to bog down a it
REally the VF25 is a slow spooler? does it pack a better punch than the VF13 though?
Are VF18 and VF20 still straight bolt ons?
yes i find it was a LOT SLOWER to spooler up then put a vf20 in and for the short time was much faster and better ..

g i was told engine builder no less then 10,000kms to run in :-\
and did 3 oil changes in that time with this funny oil..
