http://www.koaspeer.com/circuit_protection.asp?part=2 this is the closest information i can find. usually smd fuses are rated with a standard letter system.. current ratings on that table check out with the fuses on my ps2 mobo's so, what i can tell, its a smd 1210 package aka chipfuse the 50 on the device denotes the 5.0amp fusing current.

i had a look online and havn't find any means to decode them yet. i'm only going on an identical looking device on a PS2 motherboard. the resetable ones are usually flat, and it would have already reset when it cooled down infact i wouldnt mind desoldering one and posting it, i have a bunch of old ps2 mobos

GAH sorry for suggesting it was a capacitor. I now believe its a 2.5A fuse actually i can't back this up. but it looks identical to a smd fuse used on a playstation mobo

on that note i would like to see area mods restricted to their areas. its all about respect. i'm pretty sure thats always been the plan but all reps where opened up to help with the forum rebuild. tbh its going to come down to the leadership of the next president, and what direction he/she wants to take things.

well, the committee positions have admin access afaik and the area mods have general mod rights. this was to help out the committee. i sure as heck don't have time to get around all the forum, all the time. yep, welly was modded by another rep, and ppl got unhappy with that. fair enough. everyone learned from it, and we have stressed the point to the mod. time to move on. ideally area reps should be restricted to their own areas. but who will mod? also ideally we shouldn't need to mod so much but posters insist on swearing and being vulgar etc then we are hassled in turn for modding. you can't win.

JDM: 97 WRX SEDAN is EJ20K engine with VF22, yellow 440cc injectors, larger AFM etc pretty much STI minus the internals. 97 WRX WAGON is older EJ20G engine (block only) with TD04 and grey 380cc injectors, smaller AFM diameter.

to answer this question the manual sedan is the base model. an auto or wagon has a detuned ecu, sometimes accompanied by a smaller turbo and different block usually a STI model has the same output between sedan/wagon
