the japanese warning sticker says something about being careful to open or not opening it above 80kmh. ill have to have a better look at it
hah yep. RA owners know the 'deaf in one ear' syndrome all too well ;p apparently its even worse in the back seat
remove that fancy blow off valve (vent to atmo i bet) and try a factory one. see how you go.
if that cures it, either stick with it
or readjust your aftermarket bov. or replace if its worn.
lol
not from personal experience, but i believe the newer 6speed mounts have more bolt holes (6?)
5 speed are 4 bolt with a pin on each side.
you can mate a 6speed gearbox to a 5speed engine, ignoring the extra boltholes.
feel free to correct.. its just what i've read on here previously.
you can have your current setup upgraded/changed to a 'bar and plate' system. a radiator/intercooler shop can refit using your current end tanks. very positive feedback from this method.
some companies make specific bolt in replacements, ie ARC who i'm sure have made one for V1/V2. also check out MRT. expensive though.
the water sprayer will work on any intercooler/radiator as long as there is airflow and the water is a fine mist.
hah sweet. same goes, mines practically a v3 sti hiding in a v2 sti ra chassis
i'm in Dunners. i'll be in Invers on the 5th April for the Teretonga playday, if you've still got it then i'll come say hi
or XNC , pretty much the most basic version afaik
its wired up, sure, which means its connected to the +Ve injector rail, which may have confused him
..gees id love to take that car for a drive.. i've modified mine so much that i've forgotten what stock was like..
word.
from the information i have:
V2 WRX RA closed
V2 WRX STI RA closed
V3 WRX RA ???
V3 WRX STI RA closed
v2 is EJ20G and was 95/96 so depends.. angled intercooler is v2
v3 is EJ20K and has different pistons, they have a shorter skirt than the V2's
yeah just for the record the backups existed, but we did not have access. i'm sure this is mentioned somewhere..
nevermind its all past now and we are moving forward
V3 STI / STI RA / STI R are all the same ecu [6S] and runs orange AFM with yellow injectors.
V4 STI / STI RA / STI R are all the same ecu [75] and also runs orange AFM with yellow injectors
what code is your current ecu? 7S ?
