i never had any issues with my hec716 coils even with below average plugs -
i may be able to get a single cp piston but not mahle

or you can get aftermarket STI ones but they do cast a arm and a leg

ive also done the 6 speed conversion on my BG5 and i used everything from flywheel back apart form brakes which i used early sti RA 4 and 2 pots. i can get a full conversion for $4000 incl everything needed if anyone is keen?

90-95 on road. 110-115 on track after 5 laps of ruapuna

as 99gtb said i can tune them, just finished a tune today on a 96gtb with v7 motor and G4 in it ;D

i had one up to 225kw atw and it was ok. yes idle was not that great but i paid 300 for it and sold the old ecu and afm for more so i made money from it. its good for the rs legacys if you want to run yellows and are after 200kw atw safely.

v5-6 and 98-2002 gtb heads have differnt part numbers for the castings

it says it also has a thermo stat in it. you would need to check thread size though

they never close fully so air bubbles dont get in the oil when it opens. very good idea if you have an oil cooler and daily drive your car

when they are closed they dont allow much oil through the cooler. when the oil heats up it opes and puts all the flow through the cooler. trademe had one or 2 last time i checked
