  1. I may have scored the Bluebridge voucher... Ok I did, which is amazeballs, cos that's $150 for gas, or event entry, or shiny things, that I don't have to sell my good kidney for!!
  2. Better pads made a massive difference, then the engine let go before I could get timing sorted, derp! 1:40 sounds pretty good, hopefully our Track Hack will be faster than the wagoon, otherwise there will be... trouble!
  3. Nice! I can remember trying to balance some of those carby's on my Hunter, what a PITA that job was...
  4. Not bad! I managed a 1:55 in the GTB, while I still had brakes...
  5. Fixed the heater fan in the motorised dog kennel, not to get the aircon fixed, so we don't melt next 31deg day!
  6. Nope, well kindof, I replaced the whole engine instead!! I think the hoses all broke when I did try and clean it out, and the plastic fitting, which I replaced with brass fittings and new hose.
  7. Some kind of reference of which bits of which Subaru chassis fit which other chassis's? I realise that's a massive task, would be brilliant if it could be done though!
  8. We have waaaaay to many toys to be Commie Pinko's!
  9. In Communist Burger Fuel, burger eat you! Ahem, Kim and I will most likely be there, cos we is nowt communistz.
  10. Shop 4, Spitfire Square Shopping Centre Corner of & Peter Leeming Rds, Memorial Ave, Christchurch 8053 Apparently that's the airport one.
  11. Not on a Kona, had them on my old Karpiel, which is now a wall ornament. I did have a Kona Stab Supreme which got stolen, had 888's on it though.
  12. The V-band should only stretch if over-tightened, or maybe if it gets too hot, the bolt may wear tho, which could cause similar issues I guess.
  13. I love my Shiver, has a Stratos cartridge in it, makes it less nose divey. The best gnar steamer fork ever, point it where you want to go, and ignore everything in the way smaller than your head. Not M4's, older than that, E4's!! Actually I think I have changed some stuff on it since that pic, has Juicy Ultimates and some random Raceface cranks on it now, and a different front wheel. Might have to haul it out and take some new pics. Monsters are awesome, only ridden one set, haven't seem any for years tho.
  14. Big ones! Can fit 6 on it if stacked carefully.
  15. Whaaaaat!?!? One must carry ones DH bike in safety you know!
  16. In that first picture, the bit labeled Hose 10 is the bit you want to lose, the hose with anything happen here you want to replace with a single hose, so no T in it, just straight from manifold to BOV. The other end of the smaller Hose 10 needs blocking, or I think you can use all the bits there to get rid of the end to make it look all factory. Taking the BOV re-circulation hose off helps with access there. You intercooler looks like a 15 year old one! Its not hard to bend the fins, also not hard to bend them back, much easier when its not on the car.
  17. Attached some cleats so my big ass bike rack doesn't flap in the breeze. Yes the rack does need some padding...
  18. Mine had it since I got it, so about 2 years, no problems from it.

Nice, I likey them thurr wheelz!
  20. Yes, moar boosty's overall, and quicker boosty's on primary.
  21. Interestingly the car vomited up a Code 66 yesterday, when I was being a dick and changed in teh middle of VOD and floored it, wouldn't come out of derp no boost mode then did the fun fuel cut thing the whole way home. Yay. So now its back to stock, just with the ECV rod adjusted properly, seems to go fine and even VOD gear changing isn't too horrendously slow. No idea what planet of weirdness them Aussies are on to think it does anything useful...
  22. Well I found a section of 80k road without 3000 other cars on it, and things are pretty good yah! It definitely closes the ECV faster if you do change in the VOD area, was down to about a second if you use full throttle in the next gear, maybe 3 seconds if you go to part throttle. Much better than the time to make a coffee and peruse the tardme cool auctions amount of seconds it was before! I notice it does make a weird sort of "whoop" noise the first time you boot it through the VOD (which is amost non-existant again, back to boost then moar boost, yay!), but that doesn't seem to make any difference to anything. Maybe the cars just cheering that its getting to be all lolzy boosting.
  23. Yeah... nah, beer, food, slack! Plus tomorrow morning there is 80k zones, as long as there are not 3000 other cars trying to use it at the same time... fangtastic!
