engine wise I think they pretty much the same in a non sti, it just comes down to little things, i.e nz new v5 has 280km/h speedo and no speed cut
Purge control solenoid, it lets the vapour get sucked out of the carbon canister. plug both hoses as a temp fix so theres no vacuum leak then find a replacement.
The 5th injector would make a difference if you were running out of fuel, but so will 440cc injectors.
and if you try looking at a plug in link or an after market chipped ecu they stop the 5th injector working

what brand intercooler and is it bar and plate?
im running an HDi tube and fin and it doesn\'t seem to keep that cool, but my temp sensor is mounted on top of the engine and yours is in front with your manifold flipped
