  1. Whats lambda link, lambda knock? They should just be able to tune the boost, to be honest i wouldnt bother touching the boost if its at 15psi, vf22's like to sh!t them selfs at high boost (ive heard). checkthe hose between wastegate and turbo and there will be a little thing with wires running into it, unplug it and put a boost tap in its place you should be able to tweak how much boost and the link wont be able to counter it, well this it what i did with my link which is only a g1 but i think it should be much the same? Before tweaking things like this it pays to ask people who know, when i had the boost tap running 15psi it seemed so much slower than when the tune got fixed and run about the same psi but i had my boost tinkered with, along with afew idle issues and he hada look at my gauges that werent working, all up it cost $150
  2. I got my car had link g1 installed, the o2 was still in place but with the wires attached to nothing so i attached a wire to it and hooked it up to the gauge, the o2 sensor should still be working, i think your gauge or wiring will be stuffed I dont see why you couldnt put in a boost tap and run 18psi, you would have to take out the link controlled boost tap tho or just unplug it but really it would be better to take it in and get the tune adjusted through the link to run 18psi boost tap=$80ish tune adjusted=$50-100 Where are you based?
  3. Mhm nah i never done that lol, will have to try it, doesn't really bother me tbh, dave from pf auto hada look at the car afew days ago to sort afew idle (cold idle included) issues he started it afew times but never said anything about it
  4. lol my car does the same as the 2nd vid, all the time, i put it down to the G1 link ecu not being the best for starting, maybe something is poked?

    Gen II Legacy grill

Lol yeah my chrome started flakying, just sparyed it black, looks better than before anyway lol
  6. Mhm always wonder about this, i just start drive straight away, once water temp is up i dont really worry about it anymore, What about after awhile of driving then turning off for say 5mins then jumping back in? i drive off then wait maybe 1min before id boost
  7. lmao i think they went abit aboard with the earthing kit... just a tad...
  8. Yea brace and that cost more than what some shocks would, i got some v7 shocks & springs for $200 they would be stiffer than your current setup, abit lower aswell
  9. i didnt know it made a differance, this was a 2.0l toyota? ive never driven an NA subi before so cant comment, but im sure it added no power lol, meh haha maybe it did, it was already totaly lacking in power from the usless pod setup sucking hot air & the 2.5 "exhaust system" which im guessing had no were near enough back pressure lol
  10. I would try put 98 whenever you can I would say it is bad, it detonates in some cars under high load &/or boost then again if your car doesn't detonate at any point with lower octane gas, under high boost &/or load. Then i dont see why not to run lower octane gas
  11. um better shocks and springs = better handling lol, you could go for strut braces underbody brace, but without a good stiff shock setup i doubt it will improve much Tyres could also be a thing to look at
  12. I must say ive never notice differance in the different types of fuel, ive only ever used 98 bp in my subi, maybe the odd $5 v power to get me to Bp but thats it, all my other cars, i couldn't tell a thing from 91-98 95-98 91-95 etc, tryed different types of gas and never noticed a thing (power wise, i never seem to get the same amount of kms per tank so cant comment about that) maybe its all in your head(s)?
  13. lol this is true alwell... BEB lol, the new hatchbacks :-\
  14. Boxer rumble, everything fits everything! sexual as looking all through out time, cant beat the BG5 or GC8 sedans, V8 scoops rock
  15. i need to find out what tyres i had on my last set of rims, best tyres ive had, great in dry, oversteer in wet when wanted lol, saw no wear from them at all they were 215/45/17 my new tyres are "different". only way i can put it, when i push it hard rounds corner etc feel rather weird also in wet they understeer alot they are 235/45/18

  17. ahhh ic mine just VTA lol
  18. try wind it fully the other way and see what happens, if it starts to boost to high then stop and turn down abit, and no the hose the goes into the black thing, the other one, where does that go to?
  19. um to me no that looks wrong to me but mine could be wrong also, does it control boost? if so id say it works. wheres the yellow piece going off the boost tap to?
  20. When i got my car it didnt have a hose clamp on here and after me having it for about 2k it started to leak like nothing, slapped a clamp on and it was algood
  21. How well does this work with front mounts? ive heard they constantly drain because of gravity?
