  1. sounds good, still looking atm but its an option... wow it knocks on 95? I didnt know that...
  2. Hey, any thoughts on this lovely V7 sti? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/auction-1300776063.htm I have vtnz inspection and it needs new clutch fluid, cv boots, seat belt, coilover cert or old shocks put back in, probably with new top hats. I can do all this myself (not the cert tho ) . Also has its fair share of dents and scratches but I can live with that or repair them.
  3. huh, we were both going around a corner and I didnt have time to see plate.

  6. Replaced knacked front brake pads, fluid and bled the brakes, first time ever but managed to get it done in only a few hours!(lol). They feel mint now.
  7. yea I see I would get a full carjam report before buying as well as an inspection. I hope 9 owners doesn't mean its a lemon
  8. yep, I replaced the pads, fluid and bleed the brakes, now they feel really nice
  9. Do I have to bleed the brakes If I replace the fluid? Pads are shot too so i getting new ones soon.
  10. Thinking of buying one of these bad boys, any thoughts on this auction? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/auction-1278323467.htm Bodywork I should be able to fix myself and the radio I couldn't care less about.
  11. Very possible but I presume the non turbo engines have weaker internals and higher compression ratios (can that be fixed by using turbo model heads?). Am I right in saying that you would not get as much power (reliably) as a turbo version of the EJ?
  12. okay, Im gonna sell the car soon so do I have to get the rotors skimmed or can I just get pads and fluid? If they are too bad, they will get done on its next service or to pass WOF right?
  13. My brakes are starting to get a bit squishy and definitely not as effective as previously as well as a bit of shuddering. Is this just a case New pads and skim rotors?
  14. I have RE003's which seem to be very decent in the wet however I cannot compare them because I have not really tried others.
  15. Nice, what does the Cert cost for the coil-overs?
  16. Another one spotted in seatoun, wellington.
  17. yea thats what I thought, I was expecting the owner (since they had a sticker) would see the post and didnt think the number plate mattered.
  18. Give Marty the promise of a mad legacy and Moog the promise of some Beef Jerky and Tofu.
