  1. Howdy team! I recently bought a 2007 Legacy GT Sedan from MotorCo in Auckland the car has just clicked over 106,000kms and at the time they informed me it had had the cambelt done, it turns out that is incorrect and they have offered to pay to get it done which is great! however they are not sending it to the Nelson Subaru Dealer here and are using another company which is trustworthy but wont be using genuine parts.. Should I be worried about this? I personally dont get anything else when I am paying for Subaru parts, should I try to get them to make sure genuine parts are used? Appreciate Peoples feedback
  2. Thanks yeah I figured that but wondering if a cubby would go into a legacy that previously had a nav screen?
  3. Hi team just wondering if anyone knows if this will actually fit in an 07/08 Legacy BP? looking at buying a legacy which has the nav screen instead of the cubby and clock setup Obviously it would fit in but would you be able to connect up the clock? would there be different wiring connections to consider? https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1753259882
  4. Thanks guys not really keen to chuck a downpipe on one as want to keep it quiet, is there any gains to be had by just getting tune done on the stock exhaust?
  5. Ah sweet ok does it make the exhaust noisy? Quite keen to keep it quiet etc
  6. Yea don't really want an auto either, would you leave the cats in? I assume there is one in the down pipe?
  7. Since my forester got written off I'm looking to get a nice facelift legacy turbo 2006-2008, I test drove an auto 2007 legacy wagon today but wasn't too impressed, do the 6mt ones actually have a bit more power?

    My New STI Foz

So as some members on here may know I wrote my STI Forester off sadly, I had just bought a new Genuine Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor for it from Japanparts.com see https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/22986 this sensor appears to be unique to the SG9 STI Forester only but if anyone wants it make me an offer, it cost me around $220 landed Also no parts of the Wreck are available as I let insurance take it but I imagine it will be up for sale from a wrecker at some point for those who want anything off it like the Damd steering wheel etc
  10. Yes I had A sparco one off trademe that was great - left no marks etc i gave up using it though as i got sick of putting it on the car each night as I had a Black Legacy and was a bitch to keep clean

    SG9 STI Seats

Hi Team does anyone know if the seats out of the SG9 Forester STI are the same bolt pattern as the GDB STI WRX? live Version 7-10?
  12. Hmm yeah it could well be the cold - I'm just thinking that the sensor is the issue as PBMS stated when tuning that they were getting some inconsistency's from the sensor but they were still able to do the tune and stated it would need replacing at some point ill try do a scan with my U-scan and see if it brings anything up..
  13. No it has no cats at all, yeah i think thats what they did thinking about it now, so i guess its the front one in the headers that meeds replacing..
  14. Hey Suby Team! when I tuned my 2005 Forester @PBMS the car had a full turbo-back exhaust when I bought it from Ajay @Subirex Automotive when it was being tuned they told me the o2 sensor would need replacing however I cant see any 02 sensor in the down-pipe or the rest of the exhaust at all.. it has the A/F sensor further up in the headers but no sensor further back, there is a bung however that PBMS put in presumably for their own o2 sensor? The reason I want to replace it is because when its cold it runs a tad rough and I have a feeling this is the cause - however car is not throwing any CEL at all Any Ideas?
  15. Why are you running a wrx on 91 lol?
  16. Sorry thats the bung https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=807020010
  17. Theres ya washer https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=11126AA000 and bung is https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=32103ka000 i think
  18. Also agree the oem filters are $9.00NZD +14.42 for Freight which makes even buying 1 filter pretty cheap! if you bought 10x youd be looking around $4.50 per filter! pretty awesome price for an OEM Filter https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=15208AA100
  19. I can Also vouch for Nick at North Shore Toyota my Brother owns An Altezza and Nick always sorts him out with awesome discounts on parts etc
  20. All good mate thanks anyway I have got a second hand one arriving today - fingers crossed it will sort the issue..
  21. Hi guys so the Drivers side Central locking actuator on my Sti Forester has packed up what’s the best way to go about getting a new one/fixing it wreckers are wanting $120 + GST and a new one from Subaru is around $250 + GST partsouq have no stock which is frustrating as they are only $61ish! Anyone had a similar issue? Any ideas?
